Holding waves for some weeks I found out that waves is losing compared to other cryptos, what other cryptos are worth investing now, I lost quite a percentage on waves ??? ??? ???

if you sell youre waves coin and profit you can sell it
but if you still floating still lost not profit , is good hold youre waves coin
because still potential incraese high price

I thought and agree that waves has potential though, but its really disappointing to see it sinking while others are rising  :'( :'(
Many good news like Primalbase ICO, tokenomica, coming smart contract and looks like people really sell the news for waves lol

just dumped all crappy waves already, they are just dropping to hell for some reason.... :'(

Of course you should buy other coins now and ICO's but in the end my conclusion must be that holding waves for more some weeks.

maybe you should have used this time to to buy more waves instead of selling them at a loss. impatience is not good and i suspect you will strongly regret this move

Waves's worth is getting lower because waves platform is very bad, they have to improve their platform.

I have bought Waves cheap during the ICO, I bought some more for 5 USD and this drop gives me the possibility to add some more to my stash, then hodl. I see Waves as a serious platform which could be interesting in future. Have at least 1k of it, because you never know. :D

For me waves are the last cryptos that i would sell nowadays. It is correct it is still very cheap so i prefer to buy more instead of selling. I m planning to hodl them for 6 months minimum. So even if reduces i ll only collect more.

You made a wrong decision - you are Looking at daily price and panic selling.

Wow, first time I read that someone is going to dump his WAVES. Sounds like a bad choice to me, the last couple of weeks have been rather tough on crypto in general I believe but the future of WAVES is so promising...I wouldnt sell if I were you.

Honestly, I agree. Don't get me wrong I am a Waves holder but using the WavesLite platform is crap. The button are not clearly labeled and I don't know what anything means. The exchange part of it sucks, even compared to the crappy interface of Bittrex. Most of the simple buttons like user profile and setting are still in Beta.

People talk up Waves A LOT around here... The price hasn't seemed to do anything except go down slowly for some time now. I had FOMO because everyone on here speaks so highly of it and says its a long term $100 coin, but I am having my doubts. I could easily put that money into projects that are making noise, like AntShares / NEO

Don't ever think about dumping waves. Its one the the most least pumped coins. Also its the one that will bring significant value to your portfolio is the long term. If you had any extra bitcoins during this dump, you should have bought in more waves. Its going to be the next ETH. I don't know when, but it will definitely be! It has its own dex, and the transactions are superfast. Its a long term play!!

Tell me one coin that went to the pre-crash price? All coins went down and none has recovered to pre-crash price. Waves and Ants were the only two coins green on the second day crash. Waves are probably the only crypto that has something to show and not just broken promises and non delivered projects. The platform is still beta and if anyone saw upgraded dex 1.0 than knows that it's going to be huge. Now go burn yourself with Antshares pump and dump and don't cry at the end of the summer when Waves are 20-30$...And be realistic, all coins are in downtrend...but as soon as market recovers for more than 2days Waves are going up. The price is manipulated by whales for 4 weeks now because they are accumulating as they know the project is 100+$ coinworthy.

Really though, I have held waves for awhile now and hold a healthy amount. It has just been discouraging lately but I agree there are definitely some big moves ahead.

It's up to you..I know there are 10 other valueable coins in the market but Waves are simply the best. Other 99% of coins are p&d coins. Waves are a coin to hodl and to buy more at dips and market crashes. You'll thank me in few months

I must say that shorting on your waves is not the best thing to do, especially in a bearish market, you should just hold and leave them in your wallet for an year and then you will see the true potential of waves.
As when the trading started after the ICO of waves, each coin was worth 35k satoshi on bittrex, and now each token worth 4x of previous year's price.

So, you're reasoning is:

- Waves is sinking will other cryptos are surging, so maybe I should go for a "trending" coin...

Of course, it is really tempting! But here is the thing you should keep in mind:

- Before trading, you should ensure you're comfortable with losing all
- Don't go for "trending coin", let the trend comes to your coin even if it takes lot's of time, why?

If you think waves is sinking and other cryptos (like antshares) are surging, you might be in the "fear of missing out".
Yet, assume you sell your waves and buy another crypto that is growing, maybe you sell to late and when you will buy the
Other crypto, a correction will happen and you will lose even more money (look at stratis... it went up to 10$ and now 6$ something... a big correction)

While, if you hold your waves (as it is already a good project with good market cap), maybe it will take 1 week, 2 months, 1 year... but when
a great news will pop up about waves... you will already be on the train and won't miss it and you will enjoy the surge from the beginning to the end
(and not only from the 3/4 to the end or something...).

In a nutshell, if you believe in the project you're supporting don't sell for another trending project and wait for the trend to come to you...

I'm about to go long on Waves.

If only one week then I suggest to keep it because if you sell in conditions of loss and buy another coin not necessarily the new coin will provide immediate benefits and cover the previous loss, I still keep my WAVES but my lucky because buy when the price 34,000 satoshi and I think the price still can increase.

Waves coin is promising coin and I will suggest to you dont sell your waves because I believe thic coin will increase in the future. If you see waves coin is one of the most trending crypto here in this forum. Dont sell your waves. Buy more waves and wait the price to increase after that sell it to make a lot of profit. If you sell your waves your totally lost the opportunity also so be patience.

In honesty I bought quite high - it came to around 5.60 USD when you include all them bitcoin fees - this was when the price was going up. The price has been quite low but the project is nowhere near full potential. How can people sell when its at its lowest. Makes no sense. Just hold. There is lots to come from this project. Its crazy if you sold at a loss in the last week but you have noone to blame but yourself for being impatient. Do these people think that in December the price will be 3.50USD - i dont think so!!

Waves is one of my precious coin I guess next to my ETH.  There are a lot of successful ICO in waves platform and that means waves is a good coin. There is still a better feature on waves. I constantly receiving WCT every month by just holding my waves in my wallet.  ;D

Just hold still buddy dont panic sell because you are seeing your folio is on negative. Its be more wiser if you just hold it and wait for some time which you do already see some gain and thats the time to sell those coins. Never ever sell on loss because no matter what happens, possibilities of pump might happen anytime but if price would crash to the lowest then its your decision to sell up or be a bag holders of that shit coin butt knowing waves it has a good potential. Decreasing on prices is normal on all cryptocurrencies.

Anyone is free to decide, I was just kidding, it's always good to take profit.
If you bought @5.6USD, I don't think it was the top, it's just delaying the time it take for you to profit.

Maybe we are back on a new wave cycle, which is part of a bigger wave. Need 1-2 day to validate.

I bought at just under $1 and won't be selling period. Just gonna leave the leases running and add more waves on obvious dips.

I bought it under $1 and will hold it at least until i satisfied with the price. They keep bringing news about development and the community support is high. If you bought it high, just hold. It's not like other coin doesn't dip after btc crash.

I don't know why anyone would decide it's a good time to sell when it's gone down in price. If you wanted to sell your waves you shouldve done it when it was at the top, over 200k satoshis. There are so many people saying waves will go maybe ten times what it is now, so why sell? Maybe to try and get some cheaper. Just hold and stake your waves, there is much development happening.

Yes, yesterday was lower volume across all the exchanges which I attribute to the July 4 US holiday. I'd "speculate" we close in on $5 today to the late comers to the news that Deloitte is partnered with Waves. Strap in :)

I dont think selling WAVES is a good decision. I think it has a huge potential and the price will increase like ETH. i was able to buy few ETH at $13 and hoping the same with WAVES. Bought 150 last week at $4.

If some people think to sell, it is confirmed that it will rise.

Waves is for me the most long-term crypto-currency out there, and with the most organical growth of all. If you think you could make money from your bitcoins sell it and buy back later, however just keep them, their price will at least double in the five coming years.

I don't think it will take five years to double. If it did I'd be buying Amazon stocks instead or gamble on other coins.
If Waves is still relevant in five years it should have tripled at least.
We've already seen $6 and we're currently at $4, double would be $8 to $9. Wouldn't be surprised if we see that next year.


Edit: Don't forget that Waves total supply is limited and already fully emitted. This means that if the platform stays relevant and gains traction the price will be rising more than other currencies that can still be mined/created.

Who's talking about double or triple price...Waves should go to at least 50$ in one year. It's not a shitcoin but most interesting and promising alt.

From my perspective, it would not be a right decission to sell waves for another altcoin. Waves, not like others, has a innovation and development behind it. You can hold it for years if you don't need cash.
