Stop using Xapo and use something else. I'd suggest Electrum for an offline wallet or Blockchain.info for online.
This is due to high fees Bitcoin currently has due to network congestion. You can't change Xapo fees.

What are blockchain.info fees? Also If I use offline wallet I have to pay fees when sending transactions or nope? I am not really a professional on this though

Blockchain.info is a web wallet similar to Xapo.
You have to pay fees on  an offline wallet too but you can choose the amount that you want to pay as a fee (the higher the fee, the faster the transaction). In blockchain.info you can choose the amount that you want to spend too.

You will have to pay transaction fees no matter what. In the past, big online wallets like Coinbase or Xapo offered fee-less transactions as a promotional offer.
Since recently bitcoin network is kinda overloaded, congested, spammed and consequently users need to pay higher fees. You have multiple options here:

1. Set your lower fee manually and wait longer for you transaction to confirmed.
2. Stop using Bitcoin - at least until we will have scaling upgrade - SegWit2x is underway by end of summer.
3. Pay high fees.

Same is with me :(
That's why I am saving all the money I have left in xapo and waiting for fee to get down

You can make low priority transactions on Xapo, which is cheaper. But these transactions are very slow.
Or you can start to use other wallet instead of Xapo, where you will be able to set fee yoursfelf. But if you want fast transaction, you can't avoid paying high fee.

After all this issues with fees and unconfirmed transactions Xapo introduced the possibility to choose between two different fees for external transactions but both are actualy calculated that way they insure your transactions to be confirmed. I don't think Xapo fees are exaggerated and besides low fees times are ower.

Xapo fee for standard transaction is 0.0018 and higher priority 0.0023, both these are fixed. Recently Blockchain made changes to their fee structure which is definitely better than Xapo's fixed fee.

You can select from regular, priority, or custom fee based on bytes.

Same as you, I am xapo wallet user. Xapo transactions fees are too high
See here: https://in.xapo.com/fees/
Standard and high priority fees are too high compared to other online/offline wallets, and the problem in xapo, you can't set your own fees, which it's too bad. By the way I send all my funds to my new blockchain wallet.

We cant fight this thing since its already being implemented on Xapo on this fee not only on it but on most wallets online which we can really say that the fees are way up too high. If you don't like high fees you can always set lower amount of fees which but expect the confirmation would be more longer than expected that's would be the consequence.

There shouldn't be any arguments at all, you should just change your xapo wallet if they are not providing you options which will suit your spending lifestyle, blockchain.info, electrum etc. are all offering variable fees and you can opt for your preference.

I think you can make low priority transactions on Xapo, which is cheaper, but considerably slower. Moreover, Xapo to Xapo is free as far as I remember. By this I mean that transferring money from a Xapo account to another Xapo account, there is no tx fee.

To avoid this fixed fee, I would suggest you begin using a new wallet. I would suggest an offline wallet like Electrum. It is highly trusted and one of the most reputed wallets in the Bitcoin industry. Its tx fees are changeable. Download here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Finances-Business/Electrum.shtml

By the way it is best that you remember, a lower fee will mean a much slower confirmation time. For the fastest and most economical fee, refer to this website: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 270 satoshis/byte.

I have less of a problem with Xapo's fees than I do with them wanting a selfie.  Has anyone run across this?  Why would I want to do that?  I just updated the wallet yesterday, and it kept asking me for this.  Crazy.  Don't these wallet providers realize that bitcoin people generally want to remain anonymous?

If there's much of a problem with xapo, I think the wisest thing to do is to abandon them and other online wallets and try those offline wallets which has variable fees and very anonymous.

Xapo is good for off-chain transactions, because it is free and instant. The problem comes in when you want to transfer money from your Xapo account to a Bitcoin address on-chain. These services will try to get away with higher fees as much as possible and if you look at the MemPool then you will see that in most cases, higher fees are not justifiable. I would suggest that you use Bitcoin wallet providers that allows you to customize your fees based on real world scenarios. ^grrrrrrr^

Regular fee on Blockchain.info is 0.0005 BTC (transaction takes 1+ h with this option), for faster transaction I don't know, because I've never used it.
Using offline wallet like Electrum will not make you to avoid fees, don't even hope for that. Better see on it's main page what the fee politic they have and everything will be clear to you. Good luck!

You can do nothing with Xapo fees as we have no control to change it. The only thing i would suggest is to stop using xapo and try a desltop wallet instead. I was using Xapo buz of no fee and now i have already quit it. ;)

You are unable to change the fees for a Xapo wallet so there isn't much that you can do. Like some other people already commented, you can look into using anything but Xapo, and use either offline wallets or some online wallets like Coinbase or Blockchain. However keep in mind Coinbase is a bit more contentious when it comes down to how they run their service so it might not be the best option. They do cover fees, though, so that might be a tradeoff for a small enough amount of Bitcoin.

I don't recommend this wallets because recently i had very bad experience with coinbase so i never dare to try xapo . I would suggest use blockchain.info for micro transaction you can always customize the fees based on your need.

Use electrum or blockchain.info wallets because both of them have option for you to set custom fee and to get idea about current recommended fee per byte look at this https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Xapo and coinbase both are not a real bitcoin wallet, they are centralized wallet and have access to all of your bitcoins. I suggest you to avoid using them from today.

I think you should stop using it. For example, and all online wallets use a default fee for transactions, you can not make any adjustments to it. They are indirectly stealing your money. Please stop using it and use other wallets that are capable of adjusting the fees of the transactions.

If in such cases that you really want to use XAPO as you wallet, just do transactions to an outgoing address when you really needs it. Avoid also micro transactions. In this way, you will save yourself from high fees. No way we can't do about the fees until scaling problem resolved. For now, deal with that and do some ways to somehow minimize the risks.

Online exchanges uses that set fees for confirmation to be confirmed in no time compare when setting low fees by ourselves.

I user xapo over a year, and when the xapo use transaction fee (receive and send) certainly feels pretty heavy. I hope the cost can be lowered or eliminated.
