it's designed to be a very quick and easy service with no fancy registration required... we don't ask you for a password or email, etc. so there's no way to update your link.

i suppose i could update your address for you manually if you pm'd me.

I just realized that you could make money by randomly exchanging the address of someone by yours. It could be unnoticed for a long time.

How do you plan to build trust upon your tool?

by the way, even though it's a completely different site, one of my inspirations is blockexplorer... there's a site doesn't charge anyone any fees, yet it is useful to thousands of people every day.

I really like the concept. Do you think it'd be possible for there to be a btc:// type thing like there is for IRC? It'd require stuff to get merged into the main client, but I'd talk to the devs on IRC to try it.

that does sound like a great idea for payments that you don't really need to know where they are coming from. Of course even with that you can track the amounts and generally be pretty sure that you are getting paid the correct amount!

An ability to edit your shortlink to another address would be a very welcomed feature.

thanks for the suggestion. that would require members to remember a password, and possibly input an email address for password reset, making the whole website a whole lot more complicated. it was designed just to be simple input address+username and you're done :)

if you really need to change your address, send me a PM here and i'll do it manually on a case-by-case basis... or just think up a new username that you like and create a new short link.

If you change, I suggest it that it will say on the page a date and that it have changed, in case it was someone else who wanted to change so the creator knows.
