Title: Question about Ethereum mining
Post by: Thebdl on June 30, 2017, 08:08:59 PM
Hello everyone,

I'm new, recently bought a rx 470 8g. I started to mining on 17 June I was doing like 5$ per day in dwarfpool currently I'm doing like 2'6 per day. I'd like to know what's change?
Also if someone could give some tips or guides, I would be very thankful.

Thanks in advance
Kind Regards

difficulty raised, time per block raised, more people mining so you have to share with more people :)

expect this will go down further in next weeks

I wondering if still is worth to buy a new rig to mining cryptocurrency.

Store called me because I had reserved 8 rx 570 Saphire and they were delivered at the store and I don't know what to do now  :-\

Very good plan!  Difficulty is only going to get worse....

Difficulty increased and more and more people are jumping into ether mining so the rewards for it decreased.

It's still worth it if you ask me. If you believe in ethereum, keep what you mine until the price gets better and better in the coming months.

That's $80 per month for almost nothing if electricity is cheap in your place (it's about $0.05/kwh where I live) per card !

I have to pay €0.20/kwh so I think my best bet  would be to invest the money in Ethereum instead was going to spend in these graphics.

Another thing I have to keep in mind is that Ethereum is going to change from pow to pos, so I just could mine for less than 6 months

The main concern is that the number of blocks each has reduced quite a lot recently.

the diff always increase your $26 per day will be $20 then $15 then even less, it's better for now to not add other gpu to not compete against yourself, and do nothing, better to watch the situation, because the value on all altcoin is declining a bit or stagnant

I think the profit is less than $10 now.

Thats just begging, i will go down to 5$ or even lower, without the costs to operate.

In 15 days this profitability is a half. Make your own choices, personally I am still using all my GPUs and mining. I'm not thinking about seling them in a short period
