Title: Mining Rigs
Post by: notaek on May 08, 2013, 11:02:05 PM
Would anybody be interested in purchasing a prebuilt mining rig, capable of 2500kh/s for ~$1600?  I don't have anything ready right now; I am just trying to get a feel for the market.

You could sell it all day on eBay.  In fact you may get closer to 1K for every 1G.

That's definitely an option.  But next thing you know I have Paypal sending me bills for $200 each  >:(

Yeah, for sure.  I do think that you'll find a market if that is your price point, however.

Having said that, as I'm not in your market for this, my words aren't worth a ton to you.

Good luck, mate.

If it's a scrypt miner, yes.
SHA, no.

Yeah I'm talking about scrypt.  GPU mining is dead for SHA.  I am not trying to compete with 5GH/s for $200  :o

Just out of curiosity what cards are you going to be using?
I'm interested to see your hardware specs since I just built a 4x7950 build that was slightly more expensive than that. (all costs included)
