Unless there was a centralized bank we could all trust to keep a number of coins in a wallet to be untouched, that is equal to the number of coins in circulation.
Edit: If a coin is made I nominate Shiva. 15% of the worlds population is Hindu, and 80-90% of that worship Shiva. So that would basically make it the currency of the largest group in the word.
