I don't know what do you mean by cheapest currency. We cannot compare the cryptocurrencies with their price as their circulating supplies are different.
As an example, a coin which costs 400 dollar might be better than a coin which costs 0.1 dollar. There is no need to buy 1 coin. You can buy 0.01, 0.001 or even 0.0001 of that coin. Note that the price of one coin doesn't matter.

The cheapest currency that should be consider for the purpose of investment is Dogecoin and Reddcoin. These will take a longer time for the value growth, i think. But you must consider now to invest is Ripple, Monero and above all the best is Ethereum and Ethereum classic.

If you talking about the altcoins then they are cheapest. No altcoin is more than $3 which you an invest easily. The lowest priced coins are shity coins and are not profitable much. They may not get pumped easily as long as group of pumpers decide to do that. Anyway you can always start with bitcoin, Ethereum and lite coin which are currently at lowest rates.Well this comparison is with the past pricing of these coins. Im not sure if you want just cheap coins or coins which cheap currently but can get attention very soon. In any case try the above mentioned coins first for better stability with your return of investment. Rest is can't be trusted that much easily.

cryptobullion elastic, pesobit, DGB, verge and spreadcoin are cheap, but definition of cheap is related to the potential for me, with great potential everything look cheap to buy

Do not focus on the cheap altcoin. I advise you to invest in potential currencies such as XRP, DGB, ETH, ETC as these are the types of money that investors are most interested in.

All that matters is the potential that the coin has.  It's nothing to do with what the price is at the time, especially considering that the supply could be ten quadrillion to make the price low...

there are many cheap currency if you have many bitcoin in your wallet  ;D but if you only have small, i think you can buy BCN, Doge, RDD, DGB, XRP, and else. but i don't know when that coins will be increase and i think you can keep it in your wallet for a longer than usual.

What are you looking for ? short term investment or long term investment ? if you search for long term investment then altcoin isn't the best option to invest but if you looking for trading then altcoin can be your option. Rather than investing on altcoin why you didn't put your money on bitcoin ? There's many cheap altcoin you maybe interest such like DOGE, Stratis, Lisk, Waves, Bytecoin, etc.

Exactly! You are right.
Suppose if everybody starts using bitcoin by 2140 and the smallest divisible value i.e 1 satoshi will be at 1 cent then the price per coin will be a staggering $100 million per coin.
So hoard while the price is very low.

Stop believing in random suggestions and do your own study. There are 944 coins listed on CoinMarketCap, all with charts and data. Compare, contrast, make your selections and set example.
Here people will give you random suggestions on the basis of past data which has zero relevancy in volatile environment of cryptocurrency.

I'd suggest BTC, ETH, ARK, STRAT, NXS and GNT. They all are very promising and have huge prospects to rise in the future.
However you shouldn't take my word for it or anyone's in this thread, or forum, or anywhere. Do your own research.

Check coinmarketcap for the cheapest coin.
But you should focus on the project potential and graphs etc not to the price.
I mean increasing rate. Even if you buy 0.1 coin or 100000 coin there is no difference. If the coin price increased buy 50% in usdt you ll gain 50% . No difference how many coins you have...

Depend your strategy and how much money do you have?. More time to get profit will need more money ( long time period time strategy ), and money is just management pattern. Why you not try to see price action history on graphic exchanger to find buy and sell area, not cheapest. Even the coin has high price but if volume big all the time it will become goal of making profit. Good luck.

Can you tell me potential from XRP? I not see XRP have potential in future, just is a version failed and the bank use it as technology for transfer fast, but they not use XRP as altcoin for transfer, you can read this news on coindesk or roadmap XRP

Question is what is cheap for you? 5k satoshis below or what?
You should've put a number so we can easily answer this.
Cheap for me is NEM which produces a lot of income with just a little movement. If you want a faster profit go to the high risk coins.
But it needs monitoring for their coins might come to an end anytime. They pump it really strong until the price that they wanted then suddenly went down again.

The cheapest are the Airdrop tokens, you have nothing to lose but more to gain, but to find a good Airdrop project now is difficult most of them are just pump and dump projects

The concept of "cheap" is very subjective. I would invest in monero

actually what's your aim for invest is that for profit or any other reason
because if you aiming big profit the cheapest currency would not guarantee grow in the future and automatically double your asset
but if in the cryptocurrency i suggest you stay away to the coin with have the cheapest price such as 1 satoshi percoin
because in my experience it's very difficult to see any altcoin could grow the price after dropped at that price
however if you may to considering that Doge coin is good for investment

If you ask a question like that then everyone will answer in their own perspective. Cheap is not same for everyone. For some litecoin is cheap where as for some Dogecoin is. It's always better to make your own analysis. For me it was dash, some days ago.

For coin below $1, I will invest in sia coin, dgb, xem, golem, xrp and somn. The coins have depreciated these 2 days, hence it is a good time to buy. Good luck.

Nothing's cheap anymore cause ICOs grab most of the money in this next wave of crypto.

XTRABYTES is the only coin I know that has ICO level quality but is at shitcoin prices. Won't be for much longer though is my guess.
