Post by: bigR on July 02, 2017, 08:35:22 PM
Hello I'm new in mining i want to start with ethereum what hashrate a MSI RX 470 4GB will give me ?(I know Sapphire will give me about 20MH/s is it the same for MSI)

price of MSI RX 470 4GB here it is about 260$ i want to buy 3 of them is it worthy ?

if not what coin do you suggest me to mine ? with what GPU ? (in my country nvidia is more common than radeon)

You won't see any 470s in stock for at least 3 months, I guarantee it. With the massive video card shortage, all of them that are actually available are so overpriced that you won't even make ROI.

No, that card is horrible.  You should buy them and sell them to me instead.  :P

If you BIOS mod the 470s you can get a lot more hashrate than 20MH/s

Etherium is still the most profitable to mine with AMD cards right now, but you would be wise to Dual mine.  I dual mine Etherium with Sia coin.  I like Sia as a project, so I'm stacking coins to save for later.
