Title: Changelly Post by: _Arnold_ on July 02, 2017, 08:59:16 PM Hi
Can someone tell me how the exchange-place "Changelly" works? When I go to many other crypto-exchange's websites, they want me to give out my Phone number, passport number etc.. It's simply a lot of work to get verified as a buyer there. When I look at Changelly's website though, it seems i'ts possible to change bitcoins for other cryptocurrencies, without having to give out name and other information. Is this for real? Or have I missed something? Maybe they want passport-number later in the exchange process or something? I also used it before and it takes at least 1 hour for my coins to transact. Or maybe the network now is congested again. Just wait for it or contact their support if it didn't show up to your wallet. If ether network is working proper, it could although take a day. But you will get your coins credited. I don't use changelly anymore because exchange rates are calculated, when the currencies are arrived at changelly. Could cause a bad surprise after such long exchanging procedure.Title: Re: Changelly Post by: bitblazing on January 06, 2018, 02:26:02 AM I have been scammed by them! I prefer to use https://blocktrades.us/. It is much faster and cheaper. As for the verification, it is mainly not there as you are not depositing or withdrawing fiat. You are just changing from 1 crypto-currency to another cryptocurrency, so not much details are required. On blocktrades, you don't have to give any details, not even email, so yes, not a big issue. Can someone tell me how the exchange-place "Changelly" works? Using changelly through coinomi, it wouldn't ask you even to sign up because they are integrated with it. But if you're using them through their website, they require you to sign up. coinomi also uses shapeshift before but i dont use coinomi now , did they remove shapeshift and replace by changely ? No, they didn't. Those two still exists if you visit their app. |
