From the creator of cryptoproof (https://cryptoproof.info/) (me) comes a new social experiment, a platform where users are able to bet against one another directly without the need for a dice or third party event.

Victors are selected based on pure risk aversion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_aversion), (highest deposit wins).

All transactions are 100% transparent thanks to the blockchain and all outcomes are available for viewing on the results page.

Trawl through previous wagers, look for repeat depositors, calculate average amounts and go fishing but watch out for sharks and whales!

This is probably the second time I've seen this post and second time I've visited the website, read the description and "how it works" but I am still very confused how it works exactly.

I got good English and I am having trouble understand what the goal of the site exactly is. Also keep in mind alot of gamblers aren't English as their first language and they probably won't understand either.

Can you please update your website and make it easier to understand and more clear?

I did the same - checked the site and read how it's work... and nah. I don't understand.
And TBH I don't want to waste more of my time to re-read it and understand. If you want to make a game open to mass players, you need to keep it simple.

From what I understand it seems like some kind of legit pyramid scheme type gambling. Basically the one who deposits the most BTC wins the entire pot correct?

So eventually it will keep growing and growing and obviously the gamblers with the most BTC will win since they are the only ones who can take that risk. Not really worth it for the small gamblers.

Not a pyramid scheme. From what I gather, you get an address, and than deposit. Someone else does the same, and you two get matched together. The person with the highest deposit gets the person they were matched with's deposit minus 2% and their own deposit back.

Example:

Alice deposits 1 BTC. Bob later deposits 0.01 BTC. Since Alice's bet is bigger, Alice gets 1.0098 BTC back.

there are too many loop holes as i see this! anyone with a generated address can deposit as much as they have and win each and every time!
too many whales and sharks swimming in these waters.

But I don't think they would be risking that much money for this. Anyway, I see two scenarios for whales and sharks here,

1. They put up huge amounts of money then they could lose because another whale shark has much more money
2. They forget about it and don't bet coz they fear they could get scammed or they lose to another whale

Whales don't have time for this kinds of gambling sites, especially if there is no profits to it.

They are all there in exchanges trying to manipulate the markets! They profit shit loads from that and will not even care about this site.

It's not a site for traders it's for gamblers to gamble. What are you talking about ? What's would play this because a whale doesn't mean a trader .

I would be too afraid of getting beaten by them the whole time.

Basically winners would earn at least 98%, correct?
