Title: Hashrates go up and go down
Post by: opies32765 on July 03, 2017, 02:39:17 PM
Hi All,

I have several rigs mining ETH using claymore. Is it normal for the hash rates to fluctuate up and down. Sometimes its the first GPU then its a different one.

Is it a power issue ?

Thanks in advance

Within the actual Claymore mining software,  hashrates should stay relatively stable. For example my rx580's have been stable at 24 since I got them, and they don't vary more than 1 mh/s. It's getting a read directly from the card/motherboard..

However it will give readings that vary much more, up and down, within the pool's website as there are other factors that effect your mining rate.

check the temp, that might be the problem.
my rig had the same issue it but after adding a fan now it's stable
