 Sure!  Old, tattered or torn flags are frequently incinerated when retired.  If I got 100Gs for doing that, I could throw a very nice retirement party for it ;)

and people who are obsessed with the country they're from are dumb. it's only because they were born there. they'd be obsessed with another country if they were born in another country. the only people qualified to be true patriots are immigrants as they had to work so hard to become citizens.

This topic is quite interesting. if i burn my country's flag there are a lot of possibilities that might happen, one of it is the constant bashing that i'll receive from my fellow citizens and the risk of it going on national TV but i'll take my chances , for 100 000 i will do it. I'll even put on some dope music in the background for the viewers entertainment .. yes, i have the intention of recording it and posting it on youtube.

Normally flags symbolize people's nations and their ideologies. When you start attacking people's ideologies, they get pissed off.

Personally, I don't have a huge problem with it cause I believe in person freedoms.

National flag is sacred for me it represents where I came from and I have a high respect on it. So no matter how much the price I will never ever burn it, money can never buy my dignity and my pride.

I would. Why not? This country, after all, failed in its primordial duty which is to promote the welfare of the people. I would be able to help the needy with the prize of $100,000.

My country's flag is also disrespected in so many ways. Torn flags are displayed even in government establishments. Flags are not removed even if raining and are also left overnight. All these are violations but sadly they are not given any attention to.

i can burn any flag you want and will even spend thousands just to burn flag too so long as i could get that 100K USD.  i always see burning of flags on protest and demonstration oppositions of our government.

Oh no, I wouldn't and couldn't do that. That only shows how you respect your country, the flag is a representation of your country. So if you would want to burn your country's flag that means you dislike your country for sure. No one in the right mind would want to do that even if its a Billion dollar worth. A persons trait can be bought.

Everyone even extreme nationalists burn their own flag for even 1k because it does not make sense the true question is that will you give your life for your nation?

Yes. That is so easy. But if the task is burning your flag in front of your citizens or record it and upload it on youtube, there is no way that I'm going to do that. $100,000 is not enough for me getting prisoned and hated by my country.

I can burn the French flag without trouble. People don't do it in France, not because it is illegal, but for the opposite reason : there is nothing subversive in doing so, nobody will care, nothing will happen, so why do it ?

Honestly, I was surprised seeing some people saying no. For 100k? It is just a piece of cloth. Once I'm done, and collected the cash, I will tell some printer to help me do a better one. At least I still got my cash.

As a principle, I would never do this for money. But I can burn an enemy country's flag for $0.001 for sure.

Definitely yes, no one can give that large amount of money for just burning your country flag. But if there's anyone who can pay for that then ill do it for $100,000. We can make new or sew another flag of my country so i dont need to worry about it.

Well there'll be 2 options, its either I'm greedy or I'm a nationalist.

If I'm greed, well hell yeah that's a big money and easy to be earn by just setting aflame my Country's National Flag.

And if I'm a nationalist then it will be disrespectful to burn my own National Flag just for money.

The flag is just a piece of cloth that you can then make a new one, so I would agree for money to burn the flag of my country. The government is to blame for the fact that many have a bad financial situation and they are ready to do anything for money.
