Hi All,

I am fairly new to the cryptocurrency world. In my basic research till now, I have got to know that the Bitcoin rates in India are higher (at a premium) than the rates in US. Is there a way to purchase Bitcoins at US rates from India? If yes, then how and from where? Which wallet should I use to get the best rates for Bitcoin?

if there was an easy way to purchase bitcoin at lower rates in India the price wouldn't have been this high in first place. it is high because there is no way so the demand is always there at that higher price to purchase.

the only ways are hard ways of trying to give fiat to someone outside of your country so they can buy bitcoin with it at lower rate and you sell it inside country at higher rates and share the profit. you have to find the way to transfer that fiat out though which is not going to be easy.

You could find different trading and Exchange websites all around, better you go with localbitcoins. This has the connectivity all arothe world. Here you could find traders of the USA. From them you could buy if you have the payment method that those traders accept which is the only way. Else through your friends in USA you could make the buying

I've read somewhere that users were having trouble selling BTC in Indian exchanges for dollars (or at least withdrawing their money). So even if it was possible to buy BTC at US rates and keep them in Indian exchanges, I think it would not be safe to do it.

If we compare the fee, you will come to know most of the exchangers charge equal.
However, you have an option to reduce network fee if you can change your wallet to coinbase. It has a very dull customer support but you might feel differance rather than your indian exchangers.

Try localbitcoins the top most currency exchanger. You can buy from people who are outside of your country and in their currency. Or you can just make some contact over there and pay them with PayPal or other means to get you bitcoins at their rate. But I’m thinking the process itself will take long time and it will cost you money if you through someone. You will have to pay the commission as well. Its better go with the trading platforms or exchanger sites which allow multi currency exchange with multi national support.
