Title: Most healthy stakers
Post by: Johnyloco on July 04, 2017, 07:12:44 PM
Hi,

What are currently the most healthy stakeble coins? I wanted to invest in Stealthcoin, but Bittrex says it will be delisted. I hope they don't, but from my point of view a healthy coin needs multiple exchanges.

Any stakers with a decent marketcap, volume and multiple exchanges?

I found one I'm enjoying. It's staking at 800% until December, so that is approximate 2.2% daily compounding interest. The dev showed in his thread that 10m coins at the end of last month would be 320m coins when the PoS drops to 80%. Right now it's fluctuating at 2 to 3 satoshis. I don't really know how it cannot be profitable with the a big enough stash to stake.

You could try waves, stratis, antshares, burst, tranfercoin, but it seems you need a lot of these coins to stake and you are way better off with a full node, which can run you thousands of dollars for some. I think you need around $20000 to get a stratis masternade, maybe more. I recommend 1337, it stakes pretty good, and is cheap. And of course try to set up staking with a raspberry pi computer to save on electric.

So is that basically what proof-of-stake coins are, coins that pay dividends for holding them?  I feel embarrassed to even ask the question here, since everyone else seems to know about this stuff, but I don't.  I am genuinely interested in knowing about POS.  I see the term bandied about all the time.  What does 'staking at 800%' mean, exactly?  The 2.2% compounding sounds great!

Right? The math showed that 10m coins on June 26th will end up 320m coins by December when the interest drops to a tenth and then potentially the value of the coins goes up in relation. Well, thats the potential anyway.

I'll get the link to the thread for you if you'd like.

The healthiest stalkers are stalkers who always follow the positive things of his idol, let alone the seniors who are in bitcoin and already successful, so motivated to achieve the same desire as his idol even more.. ;D ;D ;D

I guess you have read the topic incorrectly. The topic says "STAKING" and not "STALKING". This is an altcoin discussion and not an off-topic section.
