Today when I wanted to add fifth GPU, didt recognised by system (MSI after burner and clymore 9.6). I've changed riser slots several times but not working. This my current PCI-E slots setting: 1, 2 (main slot), 3, 6 Motherboard: Biostar TB-250 BTC GPU: MSI 1070 OS: Win 10 Title: Re: Please help: My system doesnt recognise fifth GPU Post by: strosz on July 04, 2017, 08:22:08 PM Hi, Today when I wanted to add fifth GPU, didt recognised by system (MSI after burner and clymore 9.6). If there's a "VGA" device listed somewhere with a yellow warning triangle you can try to right click and select update driver. That made my windows find the last GPU's. Also a few reboots seems to make additional GPU's to appear. I tried reinstalling the drivers and changed riser slots, but that did nothing - only the above helped me. in addition you have to install Windows in UEFI mode - if it's installed in Legacy mode you have to set BIOS to UEFI only and re-install Windows. Before doing this I have a question:in addition you have to install Windows in UEFI mode - if it's installed in Legacy mode you have to set BIOS to UEFI only and re-install Windows. Does it because of my risers version? My risers are v2. No, its not coming in device manager. Only 4 GPUs.i had that same issue, but i only had to click on the unrecognized video device, install the driver from there and done! I have installed windows on UEFI only mode. Its almost fixed! In device manager I can see the fifth GPU but with yellow icon. When I click on it to update driver, windows says the latest and best driver is already installed and nothing happens (GPU dont back to working mode). I want to update driver to the latest but I'm afraid this causes new issues again. My current driver ver is 376.51 but it seems the latest is 384.76. I am using Biostar TB-250 BTC There isn't that option. Go into chipset and enable mining mode. Then go to the one below onboard devices, in there you see PICE management, go there and set all 1x PCIE to Gen 2. All of these options has been done before (before was Gen 1 and now changed to Gen 2). But fifth GPU driver is still not installed in device manager. If you exceed it won't work. So for 5 cards you should have 3 cables with SATA powering 2 risers 2x and 1 for the final cable.

This is not the issue because I have 1 SATA which is plugged to 4 (3xGPUs and one HDD). These 3 GPUs working fine.
