We always hear stories about people's lifes destroyed by gambling and how gambling affected many people in a bad way.
But as always, the coin has two sides. I am sure that there are many of you whose life was affected by gambling in a good way. You maybe found new friends, made some money and used them for a good cause or bought a gifts for you and your close, or you discover a new world of internet or whatever...
So for once, let's show others the other side of the coin and let's share some good stories and happy-ending connected to gambling!

I guess for me one positive thing I could say is that every time I gamble, I always bring family member or close friends with me. So it is somewhat a bonding time for us. And even though we go out of the casino are defeated, we enjoy and have some fun and we are all laughing in the car telling stories that we should have won if not for this or that. HaHa ;D. And what we are going to do if we won the jackpot etc. We all had fun. That's what I can say and family bonding of course.

Gambling serves as a form of entertainment for me, so It does helps me get my mind off stressful issues that arise from my job in the day, but I would always remind myself to gamble what I can afford to lose, and sometimes when I got really lucky on a winning streak, I would withdraw the winnings out and use the money to purchase all the items I listed out in my shopping list  :)

If getting facked sideways has no affect on your life then I'm sure gambling doesn't have either, lol. such a stupid question from a casino owner.
Get a grip and quit scamming people by fooling them into playing rigged games and lose their money, all you could get as a result from gambling is losing and then crying for it and then going back to have your revenge and losing more, then trying to cheat the house by using some stupid strategies just to find out that you can't really beat math.

I have learned about how casino make money and how easy it is to set up a bitcoin based casino if you have some bitcoin in your hand. I am trying to create a casino using all the bitcoins and experience I have got from gambling till now. I am quite confident that I will get significant amount of profit from that project.

I cannot say it's purely on a good way. But at least I learn how to calculate probabilities properly :D
And its cheap entertainment if you gamble only with few satoshis. Just watch yourself to not get addicted because then its getting really dangerous.

The only good way gambling affected my life is the feeling together with my friends when we are betting as one. We do single bets for sports games that we are interested. The times that we are combining our bets and maximum of 5 people are adding our money for that game. If we win we will celebrate victory and if we lose, we will just laugh and blame any of us happily.

When having fun it will affect our life in a good way, I also feel that way although I just gamble at home.
Maybe if we keep doing that way all the time there will be no problem that we will face in the future, though it's pretty risky but still there's always a chance to enjoy and not to have similar fate for those people who are greedy in gambling.

There is no happy ending to gamblers if they addicted to these games and start gambling every day. They will surely lose money in the long run. Always you guys (casino owners) will be in a profit. Yes, once in awhile people will win money but if they continuous gambling then finally they will lose back to the site. So I suggest people go to gambling only if they want to enjoy their time with a small amount and don't go to make a money or make new friends because got many other places to make new friends.

Agreed and in my case it's a yes. Gambling with bitcoin gave me the opportunity to make me better, but the scenario around me made go worse. I didn't used it in the right way, but spend a part into gambling once again and lost. And with the remaining used to cash out and spend on unnecessary needs. Now I feel, if I could have just kept in my wallet now it could have grown big. The reason is that I got big wins when the price was around $750.

probability things useful only for those who work on math or love the math, otherwise i think the only good way gambling could affected your life are when you lucky enough to win the lottery ticket or any other huge winning and collect it immediately then to leave gambling forever to enjoy your better life. the rest of it just full of bad things , believe me gambling mostly bring you to a worst situation.

Maybe because sometimes gambling can help me but not always only sometimes because the mostly that i got is loses. is really hard too win in gambling so i think all gambler agree if gambling is have bad affect in us life.

He only means that having a self-limitation on the amount that he wager on gambling really helps to not abused gambling. I personally relate to him because I gamble just to release some stress from my job. My work is full of pressure from my boss and gambling is a good stress reliever especially when I won huge amount out of small starting money. Getting experience in gambling is no use mate. Suppose if you want to become professional in gambling then it is ok. But in gambling, only positive thing is we can kill our free time with more excitement. This is the best way to spend free time, and if we have the luck, we can make some money. Some of the good things i've experienced in bitcoin gambling is that I gained some friends along the way as I gamble thanks to those gambling sites that have the chatbox. Another one is the luck because there's always that one point where we you'll hit a winning streak on gambling or sometimes hit an unexpected win with a huge payout. i think gambling is affecting my life on fun thing that i can get while i am playing the games because i am not expecting that i can win much money and i only want to feel the fun and enjoy the games. in the other side, i can meet new people like some members said and we can make new relationship with them.

Having fun might be one good factor of gambling but sometimes if you win it can also be beneficial in a short span of time. This is also one of the most important reason why there a lot gamblers still doing it as a hobby. Small time gambling or not there is always the hope to win. Even if we say we will gamble just for fun. Physical or digital gambling there is always fun depends on the gambler themselves.

Gambling requires strategy and luck. I think when we apply strategy in gambling, that in my opinion, actually an excercise to our brains, that what makes us smarter and being smart is of course a positive thing. Nope it doesnt give any good effect on my own life instead of good it do give some bad effects not only on money loss but also on emotion aspect it really give me frustrations and anger when i do lose thats why i do already limit myself on playing much again on gambling.I do still have some time to engage with it but not in much already compared on the past since i do know the consequences behind it.

yes in a 7 years of gambling it has a good effect my life in a good way where I am now a investor and a business owner in gambling there's a lot of consequences and you need to take a risk if you want a good results in your life. like for example if you play gambling for the first time and you loss don't be bother to try again because there's no good results without being dumped. in short you need to take a risk if you want a good result.

My friend experience always matter in gambling not every games but in sports betting, absolutely experience matter if you accept it or not. But you are also right saying that positive thing in gambling when we spend our boring and wasted time with gambling and get entertainment from it.     

I do not see any good effects of gambling especially if it is casino games like dice or baccarat. The only good thing could happen is if it is a charity game like poker games for charity or something like that. Or if it is treated like a bonding moments for friends.

There are good sides if you really think about it. Card games require you to exercise your memory and remember all the cards that appeared on the table. The more you can remember the greater are your chances of a successful prediction of your opponent's hand. This means that you're not just passively pushing a button on a machine.

some people here share about their bad luck and bad experience becuse gambling,but i believe people who share that post,not quit from gambling,in my opinion,its hard to find good affect from gambling,maybe the only good thing that we got from gambling is struggle and consider how to get big money with small bankroll.

Lotteries are the worst form of gambling for me. Because the house edge there is usually 40%+ and this is insane. Almost all of the national lotteries are with 50% cut for them. And people are playing it all the time but when you mention to somebody that you played some poker or dice - you are instantly declared for a degen gambler.

I admire you for having a good profit status in gambling because I did never had to say that I'm in a good profit in gambling. Well, we have the same good way affecting our life positively with gambling, I also met a lot of people and we became friends because of the same hobby. At first, I've been thinking that there's nothing I will gain in gambling but only money or profit. Just come to think of it if you were drown by gambling and it ate your whole life. Everyone is talking about you because you are eaten by your greed and you lose your self control. Same with you, I can said that gambling is helpful in my life by relaxing and an entertainment. But some times I can't control myself to play more if I have allot of money and some times I turn to greediness. You should be very careful while gambling because you may win few times, but in the long run, surely house is going to win because luck always will not support you and that's why we can see so many gambling houses are making a profit and growing. But gamblers most of the time going lose so you should be very careful before going with bigger bets in gambling.

That's why its more appropriate not to put too much deposit, deposit only the amount you can risk and will not aware if ever will lose. We can't really determined when the luck will strike to us so we should not fully rely on it.

I agree, aside from being careful, we should keep ourselve on check.  We should be aware of the statistics and the amount we are winning or losing, this way we can know if it is time for us to quit the current session or go on.  I also agree that in the long run, the thing we called luck won't support us everytime we had our roll and worst if the house edge kicks in.  We should always know and set limitation in every gambling session we had.  Though gambling recently had affected my life in a good way since I got some free funds from winning but I know it is not always a happy ending in gambling.

  Well there are some good things that can happen when you gamble but most of the time there are more bad things that happen in gambling. Yeah nothing really good comes out of gambling unless you call expensive entertainment as something good for your life. Well, i once ever feel that, being affected in a good way by gambling, because on that day i win a big amount of money and i really happy, enjoying my life more than ever. But you know, its only for a day, because on the next day, my day is ruined again by keep gambling and become greedy.

Everything that happens to me I consider it as a learning experience although we don't have to experience everything to learn from it. Since I started betting I think I am only around 50/50. The lesson I learned is controlling emotions and risk management.

Well it depends on the person I could say, because if the person is lucky on gambling then it will be good to your life, but if it is the other way around then of course it is not going to be good in your life. It depends on the person. Actually, gambling isn't the problem why people's life is getting destroyed. The main reason why they suffer is because of themselves which proves that gambling won't affect one's life in negatively if he knows how to control himself.

It only had a good effect on our life when we abandoned it. Precisely, it is basically gambling is a very giving lots of calculations. If we just do the casual way of gambling and never see or look for something in order to get a profit, then I am sure in the end it brings is a great loss. I agree with that. Many addicted gamblers are blaming the game when in fact, they should be blaming themselves. There is nothing wrong with the game, the mistakes are coming from the players who are doing bad things because of greediness and addiction in the game.

I play poker and gambling affected my life in a good way as I won money, played life tournaments, travelled and met other gamblers. Unfortunately, recently I can not win anymore so I assume the good times have gone.

I guess there are things , positive things that happened to me because of gambling, maybe the first on my list is when someone won a big prize and I was the first one to congratulate the guy. The guy is so happy that he gave me some of his money. I am also encouraged to bet and won double the amount he gave me. I went home after that and also gave some back to that man. Though, it only lasted a day, the next day, the I lost all of them.

Nice, some gamblers are very generous and they share part of their earnings with others around them. Some good things happen in gambling, but I think it's not sufficient to change ones life... Gambling can change your life only if you are too lucky to hit the prize on the lottery, becoming a millionaire. Gambling has neither affected my life in a good way or in a bad as I don't gamble everyday and I am not addicted to it and I prefer to gamble only my free time and only if I have some spare money and gambling for me is only time pass and to have fun so it really doesn't affect me much even if I win or loose.

Monetarily gambling might not have affected me positively, but I like to gamble for fun, so mentally it has a positive effect upon my life.

I think the good thing it has done me is that when I bet I turn to science and research especially when its against my friends and we are betting on who would win the NBA chanpionship. I think only one good thing we have in gambling that is having fun and spending our free time with full of entertainment. Other than this I think there are no much good times in gambling. Yes its true. Gambling has been my rescuer it helps me to save my day. Sometimes i dont have any money so sometimes i have been trying my luck and play a little amount of money and sometimes i have been won my game therefore i have my money for myself and for my family we will have a food to eat.

For a moment, gambling has affected me. Your brain gets serotonin and that feels great. But after just a couple of seconds, that happiness is gone. That is actually the reason why people get addicted on gambling, they get a hit of that serotonin and they want to experience it over and over. Gambling didn't affect my life at all. If anything, gambling might even affected me negatively. I lost bitcoins from it and those coins could have a good value by now. Certainly! you're right about it gambling activity will not be defended that ways because I can't find it helpful despite of the loses that experienced by most people who've been part over it. So that myth that he's talking about was just non sense among who criticize about it here. When the first i entered gambling its been good because i get a good profit almost everday i won. But in bad things is I've been getting addicted so maybr gambling affected me a lot in a bad way because i lose a lot of money and also i have no time to my family.

Well I guess the only good thing about gambling that affected my life in a positive way is the experiences that I had from it. My first gambling experience was with my friends. I used to bet all the time on the teams that would win in the NBA and fortunately, I won a couple of hundreds. The next thing I knew is that I went to different casinos and bet money all the time since I knew I was in a winning-streak but unfortunately as time passes by, I started losing. I guess one thing that I learned from gambling that  somehow affected me positively is "limitations." I've had an experience before that made me really miserable, I was very mad because I lost almost half of my pocket money (school) because of gambling. I was convinced that the next bet would mine so I asked my friend to lend me some money so that I could have my money back. But, it ended the bad way, I lost all my money. So, from that moment I learned to control and limit my self. I don't want that to happen to me again.

Good thing you were able to recover yourself. I also experienced being miserable and almost lost everything in gambling. Good thing I have a lot of friends and family who help me out recovering myself. Now I'm back but I've learned my mistakes so that's why I have my limitations and not too being greedy.

I would be interested to know which kind of gambling you studied so hard. I experienced myself that facing losses (something even high and painful losses) is part of gambling and the learning the process. There was a time almost a decade ago where I gambled in an online game during my earlier levels. Ended up profiting massively from it and got called out as an "RMT" (Real-Money Trader, which was heavily frowned upon) for quite a while after that due to my high-end gear that I bought from the proceeds.
Eventually moved servers, but in either case, that sped up my journey to endgame, where I ended up earning around $20000 USD by just selling off stuff I couldn't use once I became overgeared and just kept playing for absurd challenges. At some point I had almost $100k USD worth of in-game items and didn't sell because I didn't want to deal with taxes and just enjoy the damn game (was a kid at that time still).
I actually learned a lot from playing that game, made university and life in general a stroll through the park. So yeah, it could be said that gambling had some positive effect on my life.

Gambling didn't affect my life, because I only risk the amount, that I may loose. So I didn't loose much, but also didn't win much because of low risk gambling. Yeah , Since in the starting I was totally against the gambling because my thinking was limited and I always looking toward the casino gambling , like poker , cards , dice , etc .
But when I comes to know that there is something which are directly related to the gambling in sports games results and spot betting .
Then I made surity that they will make gambling with us with legit results ( where nothing is scripted and no house edge factor are ) .

Actually, Gambling gives me more fun than profits, I always loose every single coin when I gamble but I keep gamble because I have fun and I only use a very small amount of Bitcoin to gamblle with so that I don't need to be worried much about losing.

Right, playing gambling should be just for entertainment and not profit. No one should treat gambling as a way to earn money because it is only a game. Playing does not give any assurance that you would go home with money in your pocket. Besides, the chances of losing will always be bigger than the chances of winning. Personally, I have a friend who got addicted to gambling and he had loss some of his properties because of this. He tried to walk away from gambling but he can't resist the thirst for playing.
