Any reason you want to use Phoenix 2?

I still use Phoenix 1.75, occasionally, on an old GPU on a getwork only pool but that is by far the exception.

I would suggest using CGMiner as it has the newer Stratum protocol and variable difficulty support which pools are going to so that they can handle the ASIC load.

Phoenix 2 is over a year now with no updates or support.
