Title: connecting hdmi causes my computer to restart? Post by: andylittleton on July 06, 2017, 04:30:16 AM Hi. Whenever I plug in my hdmi monitor cable my computer resarts every single time.
This happened to two of my rigs. They have 1080 ti gtx with biostar350 with ryzen cpus. It's so sensitive that even if I turn the box fan speed higher/lower that is on the same surge protector as the oled monitor with the hdmi connecting to the 1080 video card will cause the computer to go black screen and reboot. my power supply is on a separate dedicated circuit. Is this because I have gpu risers and they are sensitive to disruption? Works fine with dvi monitors but does not like hdmi signal. |
