Title: My Etherwallet
Post by: CryptosapienZA on July 06, 2017, 03:11:14 PM
Has anyone used this wallet recently. I used it earlier to purchase ripple. Four hours later I still don't have my ripple. I'm surprised it takes longer than Bitcoin because I made 3 other small BTC purchases. They all reflected within 10min.

I use it but only through a hardware wallet. I have not used it by just going to the website, and infact did not know that they held on to XRP for you as I do not have that option on my hardware wallet. Sorry could not help remedy your situation, hope you figure it out though!

Ripple is not the ethereum assets and you will not able to store your ripple on my ether wallet. You lose your ripple coin because ripple builds from the own chain and not in the ethereum environment. Just be careful to read before doing anything like you said before.

Sounds like OP got scammed, ripple doesn't work on the ethereum blockchain rather it has its own. You would have had to send the ether to an exchange and purchase it there and withdraw it to a ripple wallet.

bittrex is my favorite. I withdraw coins and bitcoin many times. There has been no problem. You can also trade. The platform is simple. You can buy ripple when the price is low. Then transfer to your ripple wallet.

Ripple coin is a different blockchain network entirely from ethereum or its token.

I equally finds it difficult to believe that the transaction went through because it should have returned as a wrong withdrawal address.

Can you post the screenshot of the transaction ?
