There are no viable options without unacceptable risks. People will tell you gamble, invest in some bullshit company or ICO or some ludicrous website offering impossible gains.

Here's the facts - there is not one, ONE, single legitimate option offering interest or risk free returns on Bitcoin. If there were it would be sold out immediately because millions of coins are looking to go to work.

Your best bet at the moment is to sign up for altcoins that are given away for free to Bitcoin holders. Stellar is the most recent one but there are a couple of others too. You can then sell it.

I think with Stellar you get just under 1000 XLM per Bitcoin. There's also Byteball which is becoming a bigger deal all the time too. With Byteball it's 0.062 gigabytes of byteball per bitcoin. You have to sign a message with your BTC address to get it.

If people had Litecoin, Doge or Bitcoin in May 2014 I think you can still claim free Clams per address too.

I think it's an idea that other alts will latch on to more in the future too so there'll be other opportunities. It's a great way to get instant and inbuilt enthusiasm and hype for a new coin.

I recommmend for you is to use that btc in trading altcoins. That would be nicest thing to do using your btc. After a few months maybe you doubled what you invest in trading.

I am pretty sure there are ways to claim free bitcoin, if you go back a few pages, you will see a thread made by Darkstar which gives you around 0.008 per bitcoin you have by just signing a message. Right now if your not that interested in trading, I would recommend holding your bitcoin, since after August the first, it may be taking a trip to the moon. If you want to try invest in other altcoins, I would recommend depositing some bitcoin into polenix or yobit and the buying into some alt coins. You can make a fair bit of that, but the safest thing to do would be holding it.

be wise to take an investing for a non profile or trusted company and persons , much as you do can find someone to ask you where you give own btc with profit instantly not scammy ,risky but trully when you can find on trading market only

Before beginning i advise you to try any method except Gambling,

There's two option that you can select on how would you like to spend that amount you have, And its either you gonna use it on tradings or you just hold it since you can earn on those selections but you should do some deep analyzation and don't feel so easy on it since they still have chances to lose so monitor is your key so that you can multiply your money and earn more.

Amazing that you got 3 btc in your wallet. I suggest you to put your money into some alt coin trading so it will grow more but just be wise of choosing what coin will you use since there were pump and dump coins around. Or if you want just store your coin in your wallet so it will grow more since every day it grows in value. You can invest half and save half of them. Lots of options are there for you dude.

bitcoin is a long term investment, if you don't want to risk your money then i suggest you let the bitcoins sit in your wallet and watch it sky rocket over years but if you want to invest it, then i suggest you look at Bonds and Stock Market

my advice is you can use 1 bitcoin to trading fiat-bitcoin, bitcoin-altcoin. buy some altcoin and hold it for a while or make hit and run order but you need to find differences price that could make you profit. the other 2 bitcoin, you can hold it in your wallet while the price still can be increase.

You can earn more by going into investing and you can be in this forum and earn more with joining signature campaigns and lots more.

If he will be willing for to invest in any gambling site then I will suggest him to invest in crypto games because that site is earning a very good income for the investors and is a well established because of its highly advertising and high trust.
Along with that he also have to invest some amount of his coins in ICOs as some of the ICOs are making the investors very rich.

Why don't you try to invest it in some alt-coin and do some trading,
trading can be profitable if you'll do it right,

I agree that trading could be a way - but be damn careful, learn everything there is to learn before you start and stay away from too much leverage! Babypips is a good place to get to know the basics.

If he will study well and will get all the knowledge about any altcoin then it is sure that he will earn a good income from that investment as nowadays many people are taking interest in altcoins and because of that altcoins are increasing in price. You can look into trading with your bitcoins, trading your bitcoins into other altcoins would be a good choice if you know the market trend well. Investing your bitcoins into some of the casino bankroll is another good way to earn some profits, because there is a house edge that are in casino advantage so there is a higher chance for players to lose against the casino, but there is still a chance for players to win huge amount of money from casino, and you might lose some bitcoins if that happens.

Never invest into ponzi scheme that promise to give you huge profits in a very short time, most likely the scammers would just take your bitcoins and run away.

Holding btc with this value at present might be little risky considering the price level at which btc is trading. He can certainly invest btc to other good altcoin ICO project where the return might be good in short time and again convert to bitcoin. This will help to get good return in short time and if prices of bitcoin falls one can sell and buy back later.

You can also try investing in any kind of skill development.

Holding your bitcoin alone for a long time period is enough for you to have a good return on your investment as compared to gambling your precious bitcoin in the name of trying to make more bitcoin. But if you are good in trading crypto currency that is not a bad idea or invest in some projects at the ICO level.

Seriously,  I believe holding bitcoin is also an investment. However, investing into altcoin which have profitable future(ICO/Crowdsale) and gamble site but must make enquire about how the system work first.
 Nevertheless, I will advice you to wait patiently because we both know that a huge thing which is about to split the bitcoin network will happen this coming Aug 1 and anything can happen.
