California-based Eros has announced the future release of the first decentralized marketplace tailored for sexual transactions.

Coming up with an entirely fresh take on the world’s oldest profession, the platform expects to be the “SilkRoad of Sex”, in reference to the famous marketplace that introduced online shopping for items that were until then confined to the street, narcotics.

Customers will be able to book an escort in only a few minutes, compare prices and offerings, and interact in a totally digital fashion, including Uber-like escort tracking. More notably, the platform combines two technologies (Zeronet and Ethereum) in order to offer a censorship-proof platform that can be visited from virtually any country in the world.

awesome, hopefully it will have Tor integration so the creepers/serial killers can have fun too. Wouldn't want them to feel left out of an anonymous booty market.

Have they raised any BTC? The 3M+ stated on their site must be a fake.

The concept is fine but why would people use their ICO token when a competitor could just as easily create such a platform on bitcoin or any other currency already available. More importantly which escorts accept payment in a digital currency in the first place?

Why there is a need for a decentralized marketplace for sex? Why they do not create a centralize market place that accept payments in bitcoin, now people will need to buy a token that no one knows, they will have to do it with bitcoin and the token will only have that utility, when you can buy anything with bitcoin, that project is going to fail.

I have invested 200USD just to try but I saw people to invest 400K . Now ICO has ended and they sold all tokns 10M. But also 1/3 all tokens had price 2USD peer token. (Extended ICO with). But anyway hope they will be succesfull if not nothing happend SCAMS are everywhere.

Is this scam ?

Most probably this one is a scam. Their concept is quite good and funny at the same time but would it be so easy to execute? I guess it will be hard just because if they will offer this service all over the world. How will they go to those far away from them and by judging how the sale seemed so fast most probably it is scam or manipulated at least. It is just a probability though there is a chance that this Eros is not scam.

EROS is proved scam. twitter, facebook  down. No information about tokens (there where no tokens) how to withdraw or nothing.

This was going to fail from the beginning. Drugs and guns are already hard to get moving, what more sex industry people? Sex trade is highly regulated and everyone will step in. Health issues. Rights issues. Trading people. Toys and products maybe but people? Impossible.
