Title: Driver compatibility with different GPUs
Post by: cheroz on July 06, 2017, 11:51:04 PM
I'm building a rig with 4 RX 570s and 2 RX 480s and I'm not sure about the software part of setting them up.

Do I just install the latest AMD driver and it will pick them up or do I have to do something different?
All the cards will have modded bios so I will need to patch the bios signature check of the driver. While I was testing each card on my pc with the latest driver, whenever I took one out and installed another I had to repatch the driver, meaning I had to reflash to the original bios, restart my pc, flash the modded bios, patch the driver and than restart. How does this work when you have 6 GPUs? Is it possible to have a permanent bios patch?
