Why did he fall so hard?
Should i hold or sell them?

Actually, all altcoin courses are now bearish
Just have patience and wait the next month. Then segwit is activated on the bitcoin.

because they released the new asic obelisk, which is a monster and can mine sia with great profit over gpu, and the price when you release an asic for a coin, always go down, bitcoin is the only exception, because it is accepted and not only a shit pump and dump

It could drop like a knife if people start panic selling. All the coins are down but you never know where the bottom is with these coins. I'm down 23%. Bummer.

Sia is like a dead project IMO. Shift is better. Decentralised internet, storage and much more options are available. There is also Phantom in testnet and will be in mainnet soon.

there are many people panic in this coins and this is why the price is drop too far. people can not waited for a while and they see the price is down by a day and now the price is really in the bottom and maybe it will drop again. i think not just siacoin that is drop but almost altcoin is getting down and we need to waiting to see the price is back normal again. but for people which is hold for a long time ago, then they don't too worried because they've got siacoin with cheap price and if they sell now, they can get profit although its not too big depend if the price is increase.

Just waiting for the whales try to make those are feeling panic and sell their coin in the cheap price. Just give a best opportunity to buy more cheap coin and waiting for the next pump as fast as possible.

About should hold or sell, you can think carefully and self-determination, I recomment you don't use your money to buying or selling by some person say this coin is good or bad, it just make you stupid more in future

The main reason Siacoin falldown I think by the news Asic mining for SC published and pre-sale. If you are a miner you can know more why altcoin can mining Asic + GPU= Deathline!

Still believe it will go up again, also made losses but cashing out is also a loss.
So i'll wait for the market to go up again, just HOLD.

You guys should read the SIA blog. The ASIC is good for sia and was well though out. Sia is undervalued right now and is a very very good buy.

i hope it will rise again with new update on sia iu. other way it doesnt look so good.  but i wont sell either way until 2019

Your post indicates how much oblivious about SIA you are! SIA is a solid & great coin and it's nowhere near dead. It has already delivered 155000% return since it's lowest price.

There is currently some downtrend on most of the altcoins. This is pretty normal considering the high pump they have experience about a month ago. Market needs some correction to finally adapt to its new price.

Generally, it's never been a good idea to sell at a loss any altcoin, except the bottom percent that anyone can identify as crap.

Because I see no "good news" pumpers can use, and also because we are on a downhill, I sold at around 473 and buying back at 360. Sia will continue to fall until one of these two things happen.

In the meantime invest in short trades where it only takes 1-10 BTC for it to move 10%. Potcoin is one of these - go look at the depth graph on Poloniex. Then I'm taking all my short term earnings and re-investing back into Sia.

just panic sell a lot of people, make the price Siacoin very falling.My advice if you have some Siacoin , hold that! Or if you have more btc, buy back on the dip!

At under 400, I am buying more of sia coin. Please do some research and decide for yourself whether sia coin is worth investing. From your research, you can decide to hold or sell.

SIA is the future. At some point there was a tough competition and war between SIA & STORJ regarding which one is better. Now you see already STORJ is way behind with a daily trading volume of less than half a million, whereas the trading volume of SIA is hovering around 20 million, which is pretty low for SIA. And market cap? SIA is 11 times bigger than STORJ already.

SIA will easily reach 5,000 sat. Considering BTC price would surge up to $10K after the segwit, the price of SIA comes up half a dollar. A nice 50 times return as you can see.

Why? their github (https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/commits/master) looks pretty active to me, with latest commit done today, it actually looks more active than 90% of altcoins.

What is Shift? I don't see it on top 100 of coinmarketcap, must be something new? what advantage does it have over Sia?

siacoin is anything but dead.

I think SIA will have a strong year in 2018, and everyone who decides to hold it will be very happy with the results. I know I plan on holding on to mine for the long term.
