Title: newegg return question (5830) Post by: pennytrader on June 20, 2011, 04:21:08 PM Anybody has ever done it?
If I plan to return 5830 card (which was purchased at 109), I will have 1 month to do so and need to pay 15% restocking fee + shipping cost, right? How much is the shipping cost? Title: Re: newegg return question Post by: pennytrader on June 20, 2011, 05:09:26 PM Thanks. I just like to see if somebody has already done that and wonder what's the experience.
frozen is right, maybe I can sell it here on the forums. :) Title: Re: newegg return question Post by: OgNasty on June 20, 2011, 08:05:59 PM You could just try to sell it on the forums here. You might get more than the $109 it cost you originally. People are paying $160 for them... With BTCs currently sitting under a big question mark, I'd bet you could find someone to give you 15+ BTC for it if you found the right buyer. Title: Re: newegg return question Post by: kokojie on June 20, 2011, 08:12:18 PM newegg is a bitch for return, always 15% restocking fee plus you pay the shipping. This is why I have turned to amazon for most of my hardware. Similar price, but easy as hell return, I have returned $1000+ of stuff recently to amazon, and cost me nothing.
Title: Re: newegg return question (5830) Post by: User-name on June 21, 2011, 05:03:17 PM You can buy the label you need direct from NewEgg. I returned a cpu some years back and it was $7 via UPS.
Title: Re: newegg return question (5830) Post by: Philj on June 21, 2011, 06:13:34 PM sell it on the forum, or on ebay and you'll get 15% markup instead of paying 15% restocking fee.
