#1 No. just no!

#2 that only shows less transactions because the spam attack stopped. in fact the number of real transactions have been growing for some time now.

#3 if you have something to say, say it here. i have a feeling you just post low quality stuff with your caps lock on which is annoying. so i wont bother reading this.
and the question should actually be "why so low price"

"spam attack" ON BITCOIN IMPOSIBLE

1. First of all, Bitcoin is not a replacement for gold by any means, it is something totally new.

2. We had spam attack every day in the past and they seem to cease because scaling consensus has been reached.
So more real and meaningful bitcoin transaction is actually a great progress for bitcoin. No need to worry.

3. I've read this text and I have mixed feeling, for example - author said that: "GOLD EXACTLY SAME A PYRAMID SCHEME AS A BITCOIN BUT ALREADY ABSORB ALL IN"
If he thinks that gold is a pyramid scheme then I have no more questions. We are simply not on the same page here.

GOLD MOST USED ONLY FOR MAKE RINGS, IF ALL GOLD HOLDERS SELL GOLD TO RING MAKERS PRICE WILL FALL TRAGICALY
ALSO NOW MORE RARE AND BETTER IRIDIUM COST LESS THAN GOLD, POSIBLE TO MAKE FAKE GOLD WITH GOLD+IRIDIUM+SILVER

This is a simple breakdown, fair enough. Yes, it is not correct 100%. But for everyone else who does not pretend to be an expert, this is more than enough. Thank you for the,,, alternative viewpoint.

The drama isn't about gold/dollar. It's about blocksize, risk management and most of all, Bitcoin politics.

I wouldn't say this post is incorrect per se, but brief to the point that I would say to find another thread about it.

Please stop TYPING LIKE THIS IN ALL CAPS. It's hard to take you seriously. Your broken English isn't helping either.

Stop being arrogant, too.

It's what we call an oversimplification. The current situation (drama, as he calls it) is much more than a battle over what Bitcoin should emulate - gold or the dollar. It's about development teams looking further down the track and what the changes will have into the future of Bitcoin.

That's actually not correct. Bitcoin is in fact very simmilar to gold, while dollar is a fiat currency which is backed by gold.

Sounds like a lot of Fud.
Shitcoins are still pumping. BTC won't fall below $1600.
It's only an indicator of how likely it is you can catch a pump

USD is not backed by gold. It is backed by oil, and this construction is secured with lead.

OP is a troll btw, I can sense it due to me being on the internet for some years now.

This is not even FUD.
It's what comes from a guy with a broken keyboard who forgot to take his medicine (for the last 20 years).

None of it make sense, his English is at entry level at best and the links he points he tries to make are just as crazy as he is.

And that constant CAPS is annoying as hell.

At least next time when you start your threads use a different sock puppet , not one that  is known by the whole board.
And one that didn't post the same thread and nonsense in the past:

Dollar hasn't been backed by gold for at least 60 to 70 years or more. It's worth nothing, except for the fact that everybody will accept it, including banks and the government, and in many cases the only accepted way to clear a payment.

There's no need to be afraid, people are just speculating about security here, and in hopeful nothing will go wrong that will trigger any security breaches after August 1. Just stay positive and live for nothing evil is going to happen to Bitcoin.

I think this is just a hard-to-verifiable opinion, I'm sure bitcoin is made not to be a problem but to solve financial problems, and this is certainly unthinkable.

"The relationship between monetary and economic systems is a dynamic process.
There is a broad public consensus that the underlying trend is one of a growing
importance and visibility of money. As money becomes more ubiquitous
throughout the economy, it morphs into a self-sustained financial system, simultaneously
the support and the object of economic exchanges. Its complexity
increases, its transparency decreases and its behaviour becomes ever more difficult
to comprehend and to predict. The omnipresence of markets has changed the
nature of value determination. Value is no longer established by reference to
objective and immutable rules and yardsticks but by a trading process, which
makes it unstable and path-dependent.
As a result, the economic system is subject."

All you need to know is that Bitcoin will still exist on August 1st.

Read the post from theymos at the top of every screen that talks about what to do with your coins.

Have bitcoin-core sources, it open, any one can check this opinion.

This post is just adding its own "drama" to the bigger drama out there. I am tired of reading all the post pertaining to August 1 and the possible fork and split of the Bitcoin network. Will there really be a split? Or we are witnessing the birth of a new altcoin named BitcoinCash (BCC)?

Most of the well-known exchanges already made their stand regarding BitcoinCash and they are not supportive of the said coin though it appropriated on itself the name Bicoin...still nothing beats the original in terms of trust and coverage.

That escalated quickly.
Being secured doesn't mean you let your bitcoin wallet in the hands of the people who made the wallet, you yourself shpuld also be careful to your accounts connected to that wallet. Because those information can be used to identify your wallet and rob you your sweet precious bitcoins.

Uhmm, there is totally no way anyone can get a hold of your wallet unless you share your private key.
What are you talking about securing accounts connected to wallets here? I am confused what you want to point out.
