Title: Question on straps for GPUs with 4GB ram vs. 8GB ram. Post by: Bjorn_Blockchain on July 08, 2017, 03:18:59 PM Hello, I have not been able to locate an answer specifically to this question so here goes.
All of the undervolt/overclock settings I have found online pertain to 8GB versions of gpu and I'm wondering if the same strap and mod changes apply to the same cards but with 4GB ddr5 memory. The cards I would greatly appreciate and tip for information on best settings (mods for overclock/undervolt) for mining are: Sapphire 11265-09-20G Radeon PULSE RX 580 4GB GDDR5 DUAL HDMI / DVI-D / DUAL DP OC with backplate (UEFI) PCI-E Graphics Card ASUS Radeon RX 580 O4G Dual-fan OC Edition GDDR5 DP HDMI DVI VR Ready AMD Graphics Card (DUAL-RX580-O4G) ASUS ROG-STRIX-RX580-O8G-GAMINGOC Edition GDDR5 DP HDMI DVI VR Ready AMD Graphics Card (this one is 8GB ddr) If you have links to configure these it would be appreciated, thanks. I currentley mining eth on ethOS with claymore 11.9. i get hashrate of 32.2 pr card with temprature around 55-57 celsius. I have bios moded the cards with 1 click bios mod, PolarisBiosEditor 1.6.7
Other config in ethOS local.conf dpm 3 cor 1276 mem 2220 power usage of 126 watts pr card. The cards runs stable with this config for me.
