Name it whatever you want. If you are the only one  using it you can call it shitcoin. Next week I will create mine also, and I will premine millions of it before I announce it to the public.

If everyone can create new coins, the limit of 21M of BTC lose the sense. It's possible put infinite capitals in cryptocoins in this way...

Obviously wrong: you can create any coin you want, but as long as nobody gives it value, it has no effect on the economy.

On a serious note, I would like to say that the vast influx of altcoins has seriously hurt the bitcoin economy. (at least in my opinion) there are few new coins that bring better ideas to the table. It sucks when everyone wants a quick buck. Ill come out and say that im not a fan of centralizing but i am a fan of regulation. Regulation by prohibiting or raising awareness about certain cryptocurrencies. I feel as though Bitcoin is strong on it's own but it's being degraded by "shitcoin". I was only spreading a little irony about the entire situation, it kind of frustrates me.  ???

Well the system is self regulating. It is going to take a coin with obvious benefits to survive now. most will just get pumped and dumped (maybe).

There is too many coins out there... I think only different based coins can survive - Bitcoin, Litecoin and maybe Yacoin (as different method of mining but shame that name...).

Well, new alt coins are ok, but the copy and paste like we saw in the last 10 days is simply bullshit.

It's funny how these alt-currencies buy a .org domain to copy bitcoin.org.
