Title: Dell branded 470 no longer recognized after bios flash Post by: kisk on July 08, 2017, 04:51:41 PM I manage 10 rigs and just ran into an issue I have not experienced yet... I received 2x Dell branded RX470 4gb reference cards. They worked fine with the original bios but as soon as I flashed the 1500 straps now the cards are no longer recognized at all in Windows.
Win10 Gigabyte Z270XP-SLI I tried changing PCI Gens, different slots, etc. Seems like the cards are bricked. I've flashed 50+ cards and this is the first time this has happened. What methods are you guys using to recover from something like this? Thanks!! I've always had good results with 1500 straps for 4gb cards and 1750 straps for 8gb cards. Yes, I use the ati-patcher but it makes no difference as Windows doesn't see the cards at all.
