Title: How to find back an already confirmed transaction.
Post by: AdolfinWolf on July 09, 2017, 02:06:40 PM
Hi.

Is it possible to find back a transaction which has already been confirmed if you know the exact amount spent in the TX?

Lets say i transacted 123.456,789 bitcoins in one transaction in for example 2013.

Is there any way i can see all/the TX which had 123.456,789 bitcoins exactly being sent to an adress, in that specific year or just in general?

I was guessing that there might be a site somewhere which does this..?

Yes, but not public as far I know.

The secret services probably have their advanced blockchain tools analysis, but in secrecy

So, that's in the case where you don't have the TX ID? And don't know what is the sender's address or the recipient's address? I just want to confirm these. If so, I'm curious as to what purpose you have with something so trivial. Anyway, as far as I know, you need the TX id or either the address of the swnder or receiver but if not then I'm not sure if you can view it but maybe the person above me knows a thing or two about how it could be done.

Actually no. I only know the exact amount spent + the year the transaction was made in. It seemed to me that this wasn't too hard to figure out, guess i was wrong.

Thanks for your help.
