What can you tell about doge coin in long term ?

I have had some Doges and held them for a year. Around a 100k doges that I have held for 6-7 months and the price back then plays at 23sats a coin.

Should've kept it longer I guess.

Even i hold some Dogecoin but i am not selling or even not looking for price i am just holding after 2 or 3 years later i check . Otherwise when bitcoin really goes up then i will check. Because doge always follows bitcoin as its name suggest. Dog follows his owner  ;D ;D ;D

Doge coin price always depend on bitcoin price variation so ifbitcoin reaches too high then definitely dogecoin will be 1 cents or more wait till bitcoin reaches 10000$

There´s just too many doges preventing the price to go up.. the dev team didn´t help much not being very active with the project, to the point it was even erased from exodus wallet... things like that don´t give much hope.
More than that i like Doge and i think it´s a coin designed to be used as an accesible entrance in the crypto universe, that why they give aways coins in online games, referal programs, etc.
However i find it usefull sometimes... to pay my genesis mining plan eventually (they accept litecoin, doge and a bealive dash, not much more), and it´s also usefull for buying steam games and other digital things. I bealive some communities also use it for online tipping in game or sports. That´s more than many coins can do actually, because in the crypto world theres tones of big intentions but very little real use.. and what i like about doge it´s that you can find it some uses. More than that and despite i like the enthusiast community behind, i don´t think anybody will tell you is a good investment.

I think you mean 0.01 dollar, not cent. Because it's already 0.2 cent now. It needs to be 200 sat around to be $0.01.
It's not possible in short term. You need to wait a lot. Latest increase Doge saw 160 sat but I think even that time it wasn't 0.01 USD.

Yup. If doge can climb above 200 sats and maintain the position. Spikes in btc can further push it to 0.01$.

Doge can't be $0.01 because there is no reason for this. It has no function, no development, why should this price rise too much? It's not even speculative enough. You better not expect that price.

why should doge be 1 cent ?

I don't agree with you. Doge is the first successful meme coin and never dies. Its inflationary supply might be a problem in long term but it always has some value. It offers the fastest and cheapest transactions. Even only this feature make Doge valuable.

About the fastest and cheapest transactions... I can name you over a 100 coins with 1 minute or less block and close to 0 in USD fees.

I don't agree though, you are entitled to your opinion. I believe Doge will give us some more opportunities in the future, just like it did every year. I don't hold coins now, I'm waiting for less than 20 satoshi price to buy back. I think Doge will be profitable if you buy from the right price. I follow this coin since start, so I know what kind of moves it can make.

I agree with this completely. Nothing special just a joke coin. You can still play the market buy this won't go anywhere.

No hope for dogecoin. The fact doge created for fun and get hyped..some old whale pump it and got profit from it already. You dream about doge to get to 0.01 cent ? No way for doge to get there..it is obsolete coin technology. There are many interesting coin out there..

This crap coin should never in top 100 coinmarket cap. Because this obviously a shit coin. There is no a reason to buy the doge coin. When you come to buy that and you will be lost your money as fast as possible.

A lot of bashing on this thread, and to be frank for the most part rightly so and the negative points made are valid. However Doge has always maintained some level of value and probably will always do so for comedic and sentimental reasons mostly. The only real hope of it ever reaching 1 cent is for it to maintain a similar price relative to bitcoin and for the upward trend of bitcoin to continue. The other day I told a friend there was a Dogecoin and they laughed and said they hate the internet, that probably tells you about all you need to know.

I have millions of doge in my wallet and I hope dogecoin will increase . But we dont know what will happen to dogecoin in the next few months but I hope it will increase so those people have a lot of dogecoin can make a lot of profit. We dont know if the price reach 0.01 but we will monitor everyday what happen in dogecoin. This coin is old coin and i hope dev will create more project so the price increase

i've been hoping that it will cost $1 three years ago when it was hyped, I also remember that team from Jamaica. now it is backed up only by an image of the dog and some desperate people, nothing else.
