I think this is the only trusted only virus scanner online that almost all antivirus can scan your files from kaspersky, AVG, Avast to any anti virus.and fast scanning.. It is good for fast scan files mostly use for sharing files related for marketing and can give a proof of scan that the file is clean you can share the link into other. Post by: jhenfelipe on July 10, 2017, 03:45:16 AM Yes it is a good site but I still suggest you to have an anti virus/malware software (Malwarebytes or the like) in your pc. Yes you'll be safe if you scan a program or website before you download anything but you won't be sure enough for every click you make. Better safe than sorry.

It is easier than virustotal , you only need to input url, no files are scanned here.

Post by: pooya87 on July 10, 2017, 10:31:26 AM Virustotal is a good tool but it is not 100% reliable. it has missed malwares before and also it is known to give false positives a lot.
in case you are worried about installing a new thing (like what you said above about new altcoin wallets) then you can always use a sandbox. even with an old computer you can still run 2 operating systems at once. download virtualbox and install it. then make a whole new (virtual) system inside your main OS and cut its connection with the parent and install shady things there. and it goes without saying that your bitcoins should not even be on your main computer that is connected to internet. |
