If I correctly understood the question, then:
I think you can mine altcoin and take them out of the pool to the wallet in the exchange, change them for bitcoins and use them for your own purposes.

I'm not 100% sure, but I this is only possible through cloud mining, which is something I don't suggest using.

If you use your own hardware, the simplest solution is to just mine the altcoins then just exchange them to bitcoin using crypto exchange sites in like every week or month.

You can now buy Ethereum and Litecoin much cheaper on the Waves exchange. They just added those trading pairs recently and there isn't much liquidity yet - I was able to score ~ 6 BTC worth at 30% discount compared to mainstream exchanges. Look for ETH / Bitcoin and LTC / Bitcoin pairs. Just make sure you buy the right coin - must have a checkmark beside the three letter abbreviation -  There are many interesting opportunities like that lately with all the new exchanges and blockchains that don't have liquidity between each other and various pairs they trade.

Well you are at right Forum.

Anyone who have specific hashing power can generate specific coins based on algorithm and hashing power, which generates cryptocoins for miners. These coins can be exchanged at exchanger by taking them to exchanger wallet address to sell at market price against bitcoin or Ethereum.

One more suggestion I have for taking instant and fastest altcoin exchange against Bitcoin or any other major cryptocurrencies with https://bitpayment.io BitPayment offer instant altcoin exchange for major cryptocurrencies.

SOme altcoins are scams, dont even try to mine those, its a total waste of electricity.

BUt also mining is hard, and if you mine a coin with high difficulty and low price, you will lose money.
