Sarcasm aside, the price of bitcoin has not dropped enough but I think we could see lower prices for bitcoin and if that happens I think it could be a good opportunity to buy bitcoin before August 1.

Do share the price and also the process of buying. And of course the days we can buy on as you are saying the sale will be only for a couple of days.

And...you're right. Sell offs are great for this exact reason. This will also have the additional benefit of getting the media attention to ease up, too much press can be a bad thing.

The best part is seeing how much quick support there is when the price drops a bit, it just proves that EVERYONE is bullish on Bitcoin!

I sold some coins to be able to buy some cheaper coins in a week or two. I know many newbies will see this drop as a mini dump and I will be ready to fill my bags when they panic. Once SegWit is activated and the scaling issues are finally laid to rest, the developers will target Bitcoin as the preferred payment option and the price will skyrocket once again. You will also see people who used Alt coins for cheap micro transactions, coming back to Bitcoin. They currently use Alt coins and then they have to convert back to Bitcoin to be able to use and this is impractical.

Bitcoin summer sale is already on i think,with this current graph we can clearly say and predict that it may still get lower so discounts are getting bigger and bigger,also happening on some altcoins so good to buy now

Maybe it's a joke. Before August 1, no one will sell their coins. Only exchanges. Now the price has dropped to $ 2,300. In may the price will fall further. Those who wanted to sell have sold coins at 2600. Now need to wait for stable growth.

Yes, that is very possible, likely even.  And it's what I am hoping for too.

Of course the SegWit activation has to go fairly well if so, but since so many in the Bitcoin Ecosystem have a stake in the system, my *guess* is that things will go OK.  If they do go well, I think BTC will become more accepted by people and merchants..., then the price goes up nicely.  Alts?  I don't know, but if BTC comes through all of this well, I will not even bother with alts.

Today bitcoin prices start to fall maybe a lot of people who sell bitcoin .. so bitcoin prices go down. I think it's time to buy bitcoin instead of selling it .. maybe within 1 month bitcoin price will increase. Maybe you sell it because you want to vacation in summer. That's a very good idea. Is this some kind of irony, Bitcoin summer sale? Some people already have started to panic because of August 1st so nothing would surprise me. This current price fall isn't something we should be worried for, just usual correction that we have seen many times before. But such situations are always good for speculators.

There isn't any information about where and how to grab this supposed sale, so is there one really? Maybe there isn't really a sale but poster is probably referring to bitcoin price dipping because of panic selling in exchanges....

I agree and a lot have panicked over the rumors and speculations about this August 1st. And yes I think the fluctuations that have been happening lately is quite normal and has happened before so everyone should not be really worried over the correction. Instead if you are investing or are into trading, if you have enough money then invest and buy on altcoins and bitcoins while the prices are low and hold them.

If you don't own at least 10 bitcoin's then you need to start buying in NOW. It's too much of a risk to not be prepared for the price to moon.

The Bitcoin price at present is still above 2k USD. I believe if Bitcoin goes under 1.5k USD then we will have the BIG WHALES stocking up on much cheap BTC. Let us see if there is a hard fork and another BTC arrives what will happen to the NEW AND OLD BTC prices. Who will support which BTC and how the markets will play out then.

I think this mini dump has come at the best time possible. It will give us some time to sort out all the problems before "Black Friday" and "Xmas"

Bitcoin price fall so others are into panic sell mode on. For me it is good to grab the chance now buy btc becomes low while you can afford to buy. I believe it will increase sooner, so I hold and aiming for profit.

I just sold 1BTC from my wallet, although I do not want any quantity, however, I have to do it to limit the damage coming. I am facing difficult decisions.

Agreed. This is a good time to grab it because of the low price. Chances are if the price increase in the next coming days, we will miss a lot of opportunity of not getting one today. I'm also not pushing the sell button now, because I believed that bitcoin price will go up again this week. And yes, people are simply selling their bitcoin to used for vacation expenses. So its gonna be temporarily price dip.

Also interesting is that gold has been going down in the past two - three weeks along with Bitcoin.  Sure, that's a short time correlation, but still kind of interesting that both main hedges re FIAT$ have been hit lately.

A tricky way I guess, which always happens in trading market wherever it is, so be prepared and read the charts movement in order to prevent big loss or get profits. Right now bitcoin price seems started to increase again, not sure if it will decline any further below $2300.

He is talking about the bitcoin dump thats going on I guess. Im happy for this summer sell as well. Hope to invest big money on the current bitcoin. Its going to be great in the future once segwit is done with its chaos. The developers are gonna make us rich guys just grab as much as bitcoin you could.

Yes correct i already bagged some of the coins like ethereum and waves some other tokens which i feel it will do better in future am bagging almost all possible coins what i can afford to buy . I spent almost my bitcoin savings to buy.

i think i will waiting more because if the price is more than $2,xxx, i can not get much of satoshi and i think the price will reach in less than $2,xxx. while i am waiting the price i want, i am doing pair bitcoin and altcoin to increase my bitcoin amount so i can sell it later if the price is increase more high.
