Title: Powering SATA riser with server Power Supply

Is this possible? Seeing that these power supplies only have 12V.

Just get 6pin risers and use a breakout board for the server psu. I run my little rig off one 1200w hp platinum common slot psu.

no, sata riser need 12v and 5v (you would need build own voltage reductor), powered usb risers comes with different version, you need look for that what uses only 12V (6-pin gpu connector) like 006c, 007 nth, etc
