Hi everyone, I'd like your opinion on my new Alt coin: Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin. Basically Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin is a Litecoin ripoff but Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin will be much more memory intensive and hence Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin will be more immune to ASIC mining. I hoping Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin will become the safe haven choice for the  GPU mining majority.

Seems like you're all hung up on the name rather than the coin for some reason. Basically its translates as speed coin and yes it slides off the tongue like honey in German. So ideally you should all learn German before mining and promoting Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin. Ideally we would dump SHA for Lorentskryptografiealgorithmus, hence Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin Lorentskryptografiealgorithmus

Make the Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin QT-client incorporate an audio input option. We wouldn't mine by hashing, but by saying "Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin" repeatedly into the microphone. Only when one pronounces  it perfectly, one is rewarded 10 Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoins. What do you think?

How about "Speed Bump Coin"?

I like Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin but "coin" should be "zahlungsmittel". Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungenzahlungsmittel sounds much better. Maybe instead of "ver. 1.1.1.1" you can use something like "I/1 Ausf. A1"  :).

"Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungenzahlungsmittel I/1 Ausf. A1" looks really awesome.

German component words aren't that hard if you break them up:
Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin
Geschwindigkeits begrenzungen coin
Geschwindigkeits = speed
begrenzungen = limits

Oh of course that well known German word (not) coin, but Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungenmünze would be even longer. Also, coin is useful since the plural would be coins whereas for Münze it is Münzen which would confuse people even more.

But anyway, back to the OP: how does being more memory intensive tie in with the Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen? Is the speed limit meant to refer to only the speed it can be mined at? Because to me, a speed limit would imply maybe a limit on the speed of transactions (sort of the opposite what we want from a useful coin).

Basically I pulled the name out of my ass. I don't even speak German, but seeing as "Speed limit coin" sort of makes sense as the name is supposed to restrict ASICs then I'll stick with it.

It's more better PizzaCoin - italian new coin  ;D

That sounds a bit bleh like all the other ALTs. Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin is fanstantic. I'm going to take likecoin, jiggle around with a few constants and hopefully, one day, Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin will hurtling towards world reserve currency status!

Now that the "Rinderkennzeichnungs- und Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz" has been put out of force just a week ago, we need a suitable successor.

I sort of understand, I must admit that I can't speak German and am dyslexic. But theGeschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin project would be interested in any contribution you have to make be it legislative, legal or computational.

I'm in the process of setting up a Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungencoin trust fund to finance the project and am in contact with the UN about its adoption as a de-facto currency for developing and reconstruction purposes.

If anyone has any valid contribuitions to make please express yoself.
