This platform allows people to rent or rent out bicycles to other people around the world using crypto-currencies.

For bicycle renters:
Rent a bike while traveling or in your hometown. Rent only when you need it, without a bank card and identity cards.

For bicycle owners:
Rent out your bike to other people and earn the Bitcoins.

The Bitbike project will start in the spring of 2018 in the five most popular cities in the world, then all over the world. Vote for your city on our site now.

I think this is not a bad idea, something like Uber and AirBnb right? :) How do you make sure your bike that you rent is unharmed, and is there a GPS tracking device attached or do we have to do it ourselves?

In my country there are bikes around that is placed by the government for people to rent using an app, so I would find this interesting too. Also, what fees do you plan to charge? I hope to see this service soon, in any part of the world! Good luck! :D

We are now working on a deposit/insurance system to protect the owners of a bicycle, and not to make it difficult for the bicycle renters at the same time.

Insurance system is sounds good idea, but it's need to pay the fees for insurance isn't? Also it's need to upload the identity?
How the system of renting works?

Not hard to assume you're from the Netherlands,aren't you ? :D
The business would run perfectly there but I doubt you have same scope everywhere around the world.
People don't take things on rent which has a sufficient  value ,like bikes is a one time investment and it's nearly cheap so instead of renting it,they can easily buy a fordable travel bike.
If you're renting out super-bikes,the luxurious one's ,that's a lucrative business in my city!

We are now working on the system. Most likely it will be a secure deposit system for a bicycle that is freezes the deposit during the lease, and then returns it to the bicycle rental.

We focus on two types of users:
1. They are travelers who come to a new city for a while, where they can find a cheap and reliable bike for trips.
2. These are local residents who could find in their city unusual bikes that they would like to rent for a short time, including "super-bikes, the luxurious one's". Vote for your city on the site :)

I know that my city do not have a chance as it is in SE Asia, plus they are lots of bike sharing available in my country, so I voted for France instead. :)

Subscribed, and hope to see updates soon! So it would be launched in 2018? Hopefully your service can become global and people can get to know more about Bitcoin and earn some themselves. Honestly speaking, I think this has a potential to become global, so I am really looking forward to this. Any updates or new information?

How if the renting cost is less than bike price? I means if renter deposit is less than the bike price of the owner, then the possibility a renter to runs out the bike is big chance. Whether the insurance system will be used in this case?

Seems like a very innovative service but how do you plan on combating theft of the bikes ?

Is this something like yandex.taxi in Russia or Uber in Europe? I'm currently in there. Do you plan to make this bike rental in RF? I would love to put money in it

Sounds interesting project, I personally live in France near Paris and use my bike often. We already have Velib' in Paris (public service for city bike rent), but that could be a useful service to rent other types of bikes. Like others, I'm waiting to have explanations about anti-theft system.
(And in case you need french translation for you site, if Paris is one of the selected cities, don't hesitate to ask me)

Do you plan KYC procedure or deposits for rentals? How do you plan to protect bike owners against theft?

Our service will provide a system for protecting bicycle owners, such as:

- A deposit for a bicycle that will cover the cost of the bicycle. The deposit for the bicycle is set by its owner and this amount is frozen for the duration of the rental of the bicycle as a guarantee.

- User reviews and rating system, by means of which you can choose the one to whom you rent a bike.

Anyway, the system of full deposit for the bicycle is now in development and we are considering various options in which our users will be able to freeze only the part of need deposit.
