Title: Litecoin Mining [Beginner]
Post by: Kackarot on July 12, 2017, 06:14:04 PM
Hello, I am looking to get pointed in the right direction or some information on mining. I have already invested in some LTC, but looking to do some mining on my own. I was looking at some RX 580 4gb card setups, but stumbled upon some a Antminer L3+. I no nothing about this type of equipment , I do have some old block equpters laying around, but they are purely for Bitcoin.

My question is these are running around $1900 and dont ship till the end of September. I feel kind of weary about buying them, not getting to start my ROI almost 2.5 months  after I paid for the equipment. Is this normal with this product? Does this use some type of program. I have used BFG miner with my block eruptors, but nothing else.

Thanks,

CB

Block erupters aren't only purely for bitcoin mining, you can mine whatever sha-256 coin you like.

you definitely can't GPU mine Litecoin lucratively.
I'm pretty sure you just point these Antminers to some mining pool (through some webinterface) and start mining.
