I would prefer you to pick the  Asus AMD's R7 250 gddr5 with 1vgb. Beside from being cheap, it can run your games smoothly in 720p or 768p. And it will help you to start a good gaming expierience. Otherwise if you don's like it then Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 4gb and is a vulkan compatible.

you should get , EVGA Geforce Gtx 1050 ti SC 4Gb, gtx 1050 ti is the successor of gtx 1050 and is 20% faster.

I'd recommend waiting for manufacturers to release their respective "mining edition" video cards, which have no display ports.
This could drop prices on regular "gaming" videocards, becausenow the demand is high and supply is low, due to current mining boom.)
The cards in your price range aren't really affected by this directly, because they are not likely used for mining, but they can also be affected indirectly.
If i want to upgrade to 1060 or 1070, which are now at least at 150% of their price as of April 2017, i get shocked and buy 1050 instead, which indirectly raises its price too.

Get yourself a high end AMD card it will last for years. You will probably be able to use it in your next computer build and it will still be fast for graphics. Two of them is even better  ;D.

For that budget only the Nvidia 1050 and 1050 ti can be bought as new. These are considered low budget gaming cards and may fit your panel. I think it would be better to get used 1060 from Nvidia or R9 280x from AMD. R9 280x from AMD can be found easily on newegg, ebay, amazon and other big sellers.

Straight answer would be GTX 1080 TI. You can check the benchmark chart at videocardbenchmark.net.

I think the best Video Gard in your case is an Nvidia Gtx 1060 2Gb.
It's not very expensive (About 200 dollars) and it has very goog performance.
I advise you this one, but if you have a little more budget, you can buy a nvidia gta 1070 if you want. :)

This is basic, but Asus is always a good option to trust.

well 100-200 $, then your best option would be this:
1.  EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB GAMING, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan), 3GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphics Cards 03G-P4-6160-KR: Computers & Accessories
2.MSI GAMING Radeon RX 470 GDDR5 4GB CrossFire FinFET DirectX 12 Graphics Card (RX 470 GAMING X 4G)
3.SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon RX 480 DirectX 12 100406NT4GOCL 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

I think one of the greatest GPUs today is the RX VEGA 64 8 GB. It's cheaper than the GTX 1080Ti but somewhere near it's performance. If you're on a budget and you want to practically play any gane without lags or stutters, I guess the only probable choice is the RX VEGA. The cons is just that it consumes more power than nvidia cards. Nevertheless, it can perform well.

Go for R9 280 DUAL-X 384bit. I used it for 3 years without any problem and played almost everygame on Ultra. I love it but now I have 1080.

1050ti is solid and fits in that budget range, 1080ti is fantastic but way too expensive

I agree, get yourself a 1050ti, good price and for the games you mentioned is more than enough.

I think the best video card for gaming is PNY Nvidia Tesla V100 16GB. But it's more than $10.000..  So i could never play my games with it :)  If you say between  $100 and $ 200, i would recommend you Asus Amd RX560-O2G GDDR5 2GB 128 bit.

Go for Nvidia 1050 TI. It's the best card in that price range.

If you can bump up the range for like 20$-25$ you will be able to get GTX 1060.

Get an AMD graphics card, they're usually cheaper than NVIDIA's offering and also are pretty capable for the types of game you have listed.

If it's really for those two games and you don't care about the latest, then get the best and latest budget card, and that is the 1050ti. It will run cooler and quieter, and will be more than enough power. Could easily run games like Grand Theft Auto V with it, at a probably better than console settings.

the best video card right now is GTX TITAN V

Though technically true, it's many times more expensive than a 1080ti, because it's made for scientific researchers and the link. One is better off getting two 1080ti. Or 3, or 4, and save money. Here are some benchmarks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0F-6yEl9QY.

My son is a huge gamer and he has a 1080 card in his gaming machine. He says that he notices a big improvement in the game play (previous card was a 4GB card).
