Title: SportsBetting with pretty much all altcoins and bitcoin
Post by: Marcus-SuperBet on July 13, 2017, 02:54:50 PM
Hello.I work for a non-US betting company and we're currently looking to expand into acceping cryptocurrencies for our international customers. This is a "prototype" type of project as we're interested how many people will bet with cryptocurrencies to know if it's worth investing into developing an automated solution.

We generally tend to have better odds on American leagues(NBA,MLB) that most other bookies.

If you have some bitcoin or other altcoins laying around and want to bet, drop me a PM and I'll gladly assist you in opening an account.

Our Odds for the semi-finals of Wimbeldon:
S.Querry (3.65) vs M.Cilic (1.38)
R.Federer (1.20) vs T.Berdych(6.50)

Currently running promotion(Cryptocurrency users only):
"If you deposit at least 0.25BTC(or the  equivalent in other altcoins) your first bet is a "safe-bet",this meaning you get 50% back if your first bet loses.Minimum odds are 1.6 for singles or 2.4 for parlays."

Cheers,Marcus.

If you have some bitcoin or other altcoins laying around and want to bet, drop me a PM for more details.

Sadly I cannot make the website public as the English interface is not fully completed and my boss wouldn't be happy with it.
Without knowing anything about your sportsbook, how we can trust any claim made by newbie account like yours. Any proof to prove your claims?

Just share site's link, google translation can convert the site into english. Which other languages does your site support right now?

Hello. Thanks for your reply. The website in question is https://superbet.ro/pariuri-sportive

At the moment only Romanian and English(partially) are supported.

Sadly I just noticed the English interface keeps throwing plenty of 404 errors, thats why I didn't want to make it public just yet.

I forgot to mention that at the moment we're having a running promotion:

If you deposit at least 0.5BTC(or the equivalent in other altcoins) for the first time, you get a 50% deposit bonus. No rollover necessary at the moment.

If you deposit at least 0.25BTC(or the  equivalent in other altcoins) your first bet is a "safe-bet",this meaning you get 50% back if your first bet loses.Minimum odds are 1.6 for singles or 2.4 for parlays.

That was extremely bad worded.I apologise. Thanks for pointing it out.I rechecked with the marketing department and the promotion is:"

0.5BTC is really a big amount considering that you haven't earned enough trust in this community. If you can lower that requirement than your offers might look more attractive.

Checked your site, I don't seem to see where the button to change to english is.

It seems like the interface is pretty good. Though I would like to know if your site is registered with any government and is the operator declared? Sorry, since I can't really understand the language of the site, I might have missed those info.

Hello michkima. It has come to my attention that the language switcher was taken down due to too many bugs with the English interface.Apologies for that.

superbet.ro is owned by Superbet Online SRL and it has a valid gambling licence from ONJN(National Office for Gambling Reglementation). To check this go to http://onjn.gov.ro/approved/ and search for superbet.

I also had a chat with my boss and he agreed to reduce the minimum deposit for the promotion specified above to 0.25BTC.

Cheers,Marcus.

Oh that is why I couldn't find it. It's good that everything here is legit and registed.

About the minimum deposit. It is too high. If you have been here for a while and checked out a lot of bitcoin casinos like Nitrogen Sports (the leading bitcoin sports book), they only have a 0.001 minimum deposit (not sure now, since I haven't placed there for a while). Anyway, 0.25 is pretty high comparing this to other sports books. Maybe 0.005 - 0.01 would be your best bet. At 0.25 you are likely only catering to high rollers this way.

There is a bit of misunderstanding. The minimum deposit isn't 0.25BTC,it is 0.004BTC(~10$).The minimum deposit to qualify for the promotion is 0.25BTC.

Cheers,Marcus.

Then that is fair as a minimum deposit. Though I didn't see that 0.004btc minimum deposit on here or on the site, since I think you guys just started accepting bitcoins there is no terms for it yet (I presume since there is no english translation yet).

About the minimum for the promo, well since it is promotions then you can set whatever amount you want.

Bitcoin /+ alts/ sportbetting market is quite good and there is always a place for new GOOD bookies on it. Especially after directbrt withdraw. But as you are coming from fiat industry, you will need to follow the specific of the landscape. Like offering anonymous accounts and instant withdraws. Otherwise you don't have a big chance for success.

How bout the part where you guys are claiming that you accept pretty much all altcoins? Again, I really think you guys are not wary that you are opening pandora's box when you decided you wanted to accept cryptocurrencies. There are pretty much hundreds of altcoins available and that does even count the dead ones and shit coins. Probably you should narrow down the altcoins you plan to accept and list it on your site.

You should restrict the "pretty much all altcoins" claim to a limited number of coins, something like the 30 TOP listed in Coinmarketcap.com, the most reliable coins... It will be more safe to users and for you, since there are a lot of useless crappy coins just to be used in pump and dump schemes.

I understand the concept and the idea of accepting a large variety of altcoins, unfortunatly this is not possible, it would be nice if most of them werenīt so crappy.

EDIT:

I was a directbet member and betting on their sportsbetting side of the site with alt coins when they were still available.
But they are no more.
So I just might give this new site a try.
But in the near future when I actually have some alt coins on hand to be able too.
Thanks for awaring us of this new option in sportsbet gambling using alt coins.
Very much appreciated.
Always to know of an alternative to what we are use to going to which has just been bitcoin sites for sportsbetting up until now.
Thanks again! ;D

It's worth investing into developing an automated solution.
There are a lot of people willing to bet through Alt cryptocurrencies.
We have many options for bitcoins but not much for others.
After the closure of directbet I have a stock of dogecoins useless in my wallet.

Have you considered giving away from free coin or having a bonus for smaller deposits? Many people wouldn't be willing to risk 500 USD on a new site that no one has left reviews on before. Yes, you have a fiat side, but you'll still be treated like a new site if you weren't very popular. Your book seems very shady, especially given the odds.

Our Odds for the semi-finals of Wimbeldon:
S.Querry (3.65) vs M.Cilic (1.38)
R.Federer (1.20) vs T.Berdych(6.50)

@1.2/@6.5 has negative juice for the player. An arbitrage bet just between your book would net 1.3% profit. @3.65/@1.38 is also negative juice for the player, with a net of 0.1% when an arbitrage bet is made.

I didn't verify that these are the odds listed, but I don't see why you'd lie about them.

sports betting with bitcoins is increasing, because bitcoin transactions not depend on government so number betting sites accepting bitcoins.
