Title: introduction
Post by: nopowerbills on May 11, 2013, 11:11:05 AM
hi guys,

just introducing myself,

I am from Australia and have been mining bitcoin for years, but just got interested enough to register an account

I have been hitting LTC with my GPU resources lately and been active in mining the new alts

I plan in the future to modify and setup p2pools as new alts are released and try to offer some of my infrastructure services to the community, especially in Asia and Australia

I am also interested in teaming up with parties to help everyone make more money and further crypto currency

Cheers

In your experience, have you actually managed to turn a profit? As in not spending more on electricity than you make in BTC?

Yes, I have done some CPU mining, now too slow! some GPU mining, now too power hungry and finally some FPGA mining, does give a profit even with UK electricity prices, but not too good against ASIC units.

yes i am turning a profit on both BTC and LTC,

I'm also new to this forum, I've only been using BTC for two days so far.

I'm from Australia too! I'm hoping since our pop is so much smaller than the US it'll be easier for us to adopt BTC and whatnot, but at the moment the adoption rate in Australia compared to the US is about one third, based on populations.
