I edited my post, the create account menu works fine, no state and with links. The problem is on the login menu -> create account link.

You need to draft a full line up and fill all positions while staying under the salary cap.

Also your lineup needs to have players from at least 3 different teams

Those req. will be removed, we are not going to req. any personal data like name or address to withdraw

You'll just need to add your DFSCoin wallet address and request a security code that will be emailed to you.

Security codes will be valid for 15 mins. And withdraws will be processed manually the same day.

More security features may be added too.

Deposited coins will not be held directly on the site but rather go to a cold storage wallet that is off site.

This wallet balance will be publicly viewable in the header or footer of the site so players know how much we have in balances to cover the prize pools.

I also want to participate in this testing. What will be value of this 1000 coins in future. I read and understand that these coins offered for testing purposes will be draw able at later point but at this moment I would like to find out their possible value.

The Refer A Friend RevShare works like this: When a user enters a paid contest, the site takes a commission also known as the rake. Affiliates earn 35% of the rake each time one of their referrals pay an entry fee and that contest is completed.

However, it would be nice to be able to sort smallest entry to largest, amount of entries smallest to largest... especially as you progress and the number of games gets larger.

Yes we have 2 new tournament game styles in development now including single and double elimination brackets up with up to 256 seed teams and ladder tournaments that can be played as a short tournament or a full season. I have a question regarding the contest. If the entries are not full let's say there are only 3 entries out of 20 slots, will the contest still start on the set schedule? If so, will the Prize pool still remains?

There are two types of contests, normal contests need to fill all 20 slots in that example, if the the contest dose not fill by the end of the countdown all entry fees are returned to the player.
The other type is a Guaranteed to start contest, which means that even if only 3 out of 20 slots are taken the contest will still start and the winner or winners will be awarded the full prize pool.
In fantasy sports when a Guaranteed to start contest dose not fill up  this is called an overlay because the site itself is guaranteeing the prize pool, whereas a in a normal contest the entry fees cover the prizes.

Another point (it is some rule or a bug?): I have 2 lineups.
If I click on "Join Contests" button on the second lineups, I have a list of contest available to join.
If I click on "Join Contests" button on the first lineups, I have no contest available to join.

Could you please post or PM me with a screen shot, if you saved a lineup for a future date and there are no contests for that date yet that could be he reason, but I need to see the screen shot to be sure. Thank you

Quick Update About How Lineups Work.

After you enter a contest and draft a team that team will appear in the MY LINEUPS page.
This is in case you draft a team and later decide you want to change your team or you find out the pitcher you drafted was not going to start that day.
This give you a change to swap out players from your team up to 5 min before the game starts. After that lineups should be locked.

After that contest ends or is canceled you need to create a new lineup. This in part is to prevent cheating. Lets say you enter a contest for a game
that starts at 7:05PM, but there is another game at 8:00PM. Well first the players from the teams thats started at 7:05 wont be available from the draft pool
and second since you would know the stats of the players from the early games if we allowed the early lineups to be used in later games that would be cheating. 

There is also a CREATE A LINEUP link at the top (currently being updated)

This is where you can draft a team and save that lineup for a future date that you pick from. When a contest is available for that date you can enter that lineup into the contests up to 5 min before the start.

One question: I still have a contest in 12h, but I'm unable to see the associated lineup.
If I go in My Contests and click Edit on the contest line, I'm redirected to the lobby.
In the lobby if I click Entry Full, nothing happens.
Then if I go in My Lineups, all are flagged as "Completed".
Is it the expected behaviour?

If you are distributing 1000 coins, does it mean that their value is not high?

A. Thank you for joining, hope you like it. Thats a good question, we are actually trying to maintain the value of the coin, and not give too many coins away in relation to the number of coins
to be offered in the ICO. We have seen that mistake done in other projects who have too many free coins sold on exchanges right away which is your right to do but that can hurt a coins initial value.
I wont publicly speculate on its future price other than to say we have have real world short and long term goals for both DraftDaily and DFS[Suspicious link removed]d coin stewardship starts from day one for us.

@JeremyB, The mobile version needs some major overhaul that will be done between now and the start of NFL regular season, along with all other cosmetic issues.
entering additional contests after an initial draft is critical, the devs have been working on that but you'll still be credited for finding the bug, its an important one!
Upcoming contests: not sortable was also suggested by another player as well and will be added in the next updates
Upcoming contests: No time displayed on page 2: So far we have been unable to reproduce this bug on our end but we are going to do another full round in the morning.
Same goes with the edit lineup bug you report today,we will continue to look for both issues.



@8count, The refer a friend is active but we have noticed some backend data is not making it to the front end UI after yesterdays updates, we thought we caught and fixed them all so thanks for reporting.
The Earnings and Achievement info you see is just place holder text but if you click on the payment history you will/should see any commissions earned.  


We can already tell which beta testers signed up to just to get free coins and which testers have a real interest in the project and or playing the game so we will be giving out some extra bonuses to those people
including those who have been using the refer a friend links to invite other players.

We will be back with more updates Monday morning all coin requests for new sign ups from today have their accounts credited.

I have some questions, maybe find a couple of bug too.

1/ How do the prizes work?
I won 2 contests. On the 1st one (MLB 530 DFS) the prize pool was 1007. I won 1. On the second one (DD Baseball Homerun) the prize pool was 1350, I won 400.

In my account history I won 1 and 2 times 400, plus a support credit of 100.

And I well remember my token count, it was 5020 before these contests, now it is 5820 so 5020 + 2 * 400.
So where is the 1, and where is the 100 support credit (and what is it?)? Why 1 and 2 * 400 instead of price pool?
(Suggestion: you may add the balance on each line of the account history, it will be helpful for users and will help you to debug)
 
2/ Should the bonus work in this beta? Else it doesn't.
3/ In account history, by default the Description info is missing. If you select another tab it appears, even if you come back to All transactions (missing 's') tab

And something you must absolutely enhance: the access to my lineups & my contests. Now you have to return to the lobby every time. Please add some icons/links in the header.

Some new stuff:
- I do not understand why I can't enter with my current lineup on some open contests: ex the "622 - Draft Like A Boss Guaranteed Special" was not available as a contest to join so I had to recreate the exact same lineup. Is it a bug?
- In the "Judges Chambers (Guaranteed)" contest I can't find the player Mookie Betts
- I can participate to contest multiple times. I ended up with same contests: http://imgur.com/gtkcasO and some are still available in the lobby: http://imgur.com/71HohKv
- If you click back on contest participation. It is possible to recreate a lineup, the validation fails but with no error message, the popup stays, the button has no effect. Suggestion on back, detect a lineup exists and display it or display an error and redirect
- Lineup creation: Filter by name with a selected position, change the position, the filter is not applied on new position
- There is not enough space between + button and v-scrollbar when you add player to lineup, it is difficult to add a player after a scroll: http://imgur.com/k1TZRXH

A. The coin is a hybrid PoW/PoS coin using Scrypt Algo with a total supply of 210,000,000 DFSCoins
There is a pre-mine of 20% or 42,000,000 coins, the pre-mine was necessary since we are using it as in game currency
The Scrypt algo allows for CPU mining, with a block reward of 20 coins and 100 coinbase maturity  
The PoS percentage is 8% per year and staking starts after 8 hours.

This page is a little confusing in how it works or is meant to work and why does it allow users to select what kind of bonus they want?

A. Thank you for signing up, the redirect after signup sends the user to the deposit page so they can deposit or buy coins to play.
The users will be able to select the 100% 1 time bonus amount based on the amount they are buying, so if a user is buying up to 60,000 coins (may change later)
they get 60,000 bonus coins. The bonus coins are held in the users Bonus amount shown in the account page.
After a deposit is made the user sees a success page and from there can go to their account page
Rather than releasing the coins little by little and confusing the user we created a Frequent Player Points system.
For each paid contest you enter you earn FPP. In you account page you you can exchange or sell your FPP for bonus coins, the bonus coins then get released and placed into your normal account balance.

A. Some contests are multiple entry contests allowing uses to enter multiple times, they just need to pay the entry fee each time, we are making those more easy to identify by adding an "M" icon in the lobby

There is a small group of beta tester that have really been helping us out but I want to give a special shout out to JeremyB, he has been providing us with a lot of very valuable feed back,
reported bugs and making good suggestions for site improvement.

We are keeping track of everyones bug reports and suggestions, those additional bug bounties will be given out when we close the beta testers signup bounties and announce the open bounties,
bug bounties will still be in effect and free to enter or low entry fee contests will be available for continued testing.

Our main goal right now is to have our site cleared of bugs, update our UI, make it 100% mobile friendly, introduce our new ELO rating system, single and double elimination brackets and ladder tournaments
all ready by or before the start of the NFL regular season      

Can you expand further on why the pre-mine of 20% was necessary for in game currency? Once it is used as in game currency, people will have to buy the coins, therefore generating income completely for the team, instead of having people mine it or buy it themselves from exchanges?

Hi and sorry for the very long post but I wanted to give you as much detail as possible so the community understands.  

Mining will be available to everyone and we will be listing the coins on exchanges where people can buy them from the open market so that income is not going to the team.

I was going to explain this in our ICO ANN but glad to answer that for you now. The 20% pre-mine was not an easy decision to come to. We studied the ICO markets for months and I found that traditional private equity valuations did not make any since for nearly all of the projects I reviewed, that being said we also understand that a lot of new coins being introduced to the market are possible money grabs. When i ran the numbers on my end it was not easy to find a good balance of having enough coins needed for in game currency, enough coins to offer at a decent price and enough coins to be held for our initial B2B plans.

So I contacted a few coin devs who's coin looked to be legit with questions like why coin A needs 1 Billion total coin supply and coin B only needed 50M total coin supply. I also asked about pre-mine coins and other relative questions trying to understand where devs are coming up with their numbers.

The replies I got basically told me there is no correct answer to any of this, and that each dev has thier own personal preference. Devs try to estimate the best they can on whats best for their individual business needs.

So this is what I came up with as a good match and balance, *please note that there is still time for core team members to submit a motion to make minor changes to the exact distribution %

60% of the pre-mine DFSCoin will be offered in the ICO, Each core team member will receive 2% which is subject to 6 month lockup rules with sale % caps. The remaining coins will be used to two purposes that I will also explain the reasoning behind them.

1st we need to have 20% or more DFSCoin held to guarantee prize pools, this amount will be clearly displayed on the website and verifiable on the blockchain. The reason for this is 2 fold. First you need to understand that with the exception of Guaranteed to start contests, prize pools are covered by the entry fees, this has been great for smaller operators to host contests without the financial risks.

This is all good until someone ruins the party, in comes FantasyAces, who decided to use player deposits, not the rake or profits to pay for corporate expenses, when players tried to withdraw they went bankrupt. Last I heard there was another company who was willing to step in and payout the users, probably in exchange for the user database itself but I don't know that to be fact. The point here is that without clearly showing and proving the amount of DFSCoin available to cove prize pools gaining the publics trust on a massive scale would be difficult.

The other reason for needing DFSCoins available to cover prize pools is as a promotional tool. We will be hosting Guaranteed to Start contests and tournaments on a semi regular basis with large prize pools, this was one of the most effect marketing tools for companies like DraftKings and Fandule allowing them to take over the DFS market in the US. If we are expected to compete in any way for market share then we need to have the same tools.

The final remaining amount will be help in treasury for 2 purposes, 1 we need to offer B2B clients DFSCoins without them having to jump through too many hoops, it must be as simple as possible i.e. you give us some form of payment and we give you DFSCoin to be used on your site. This is a must for mass adoption across businesses, those B2B coins will eventually be sold and those clients will need to go to the open market to buy coins once that happens.

The second use for the DFSCoin held in treasury is for possible mergers and buy outs. M&A activity in DFS is a real thing, you can google the most recent paddy power deal and you'll see what I mean. Like all coin devs we hope our coin will be more and more valuable over time. Being able to buyout other fantasy sports sites and their user databases would allow us to grow at a faster rate.

An important thing to understand is that when we sell DFSCoins either direct to the public for use on the site or to a B2B clinet the proceeds from that sale are going back to the project to further promote our sites and gain more users not for the personal use of any member of the team.

You may have noticed on our deposit page a bitcoin deposit option that says coming soon, we will be removing that option all together later and forcing users to go to an exchange to buy coins, our only concern is that we are trying one again to make it as easy as possible for end users to get DFSCoins for mass adoption, at least initially. If that option is kept on the site it will be short lived since we mainly need the coins for the prize pools and B2B clinets.

If it is reintroduced to the site the coins sold and the bonus coins if any given would need to come from DFSCoins collected from rake or the site profits. Since the team will be sharing in the net profits from contests and eventually the team will need to sell some coins, you know to eat and stuff, this may be a better option for the team rather than getting their profit share and having to sell on the open market. But this is talking way down the line 12 to 24 months from now, then and only then would the team generate income from sales of DFSCoin on the site. But in that is more like a direct trade BTC for DFSCoin the team as rightful earned if that makes since.




 

CRITICAL bug: after validating a lineup and a contest, you have the screen to participate to more contests. On this screen, full entry contests are still available: http://imgur.com/a/LTbf7
If you select them, a dialog box appears where you validate the terms and the fees. Once validated an error popup indicates that the contest is full. Ok then. But the fees are removed from your balance!

To Be exact Jeremy B There is a limit that is set When Creating the contest so a 50 Player contest may have a 3 Enrty max per Draftdaily Account this is under the sole Discretion of the DraftDaily Team what to make the entry max . I am sure as we grow when you see 1000 entry contest that number will go to 10 entry max per account.

Hi, sorry if there was any confusion we wanted this thread to be more about the game play, site and getting user feedback. Without a game to play we would be just another coin.

Another member did ask fro more detials on the coin back on page 7 of this thread, so in case you missed it here are the basic DFSCoin detials.

DFScoin is a hybrid PoW/PoS coin using Scrypt Algo with a total supply of 210,000,000 DFSCoins
There is a pre-mine of 20% or 42,000,000 coins, the pre-mine was necessary since we are using it as in game currency
The Scrypt algo allows for CPU mining, with a block reward of 20 coins and 100 coinbase maturity 
The PoS percentage is 8% per year and staking starts after 8 hours.

After participating to a contest I was prompted to choose additional contests, the list was empty.
But if I go to my lineups and click on Join Contests on the lineup I just created, I have all the other contests.

New bug on player filtering: in lineups if you select a position then filter by name, add a player than switch to another position, the player great becomes empty.
If you delete the player name, the grid change a bit as a row will be displayed but nothing happens. You have to change the position and come back to reinit the player grid.

It's really strange. It seems like the potential line ups consist of the same players every day. Why is it that the pitching players don't change from day to day? Is this a glitch or is it because we are still in beta?

A. No this is because many baseball teams, at least in MLB can end up playing several days in a row so the same players will show up based in the teams playing that day, sometimes there may even be a double header where a team might play 2 times in 1 day.

A. The desktop wallets are being updated today, they are in our github repo but please wait to download them again until after we update and test on our end, then we will push the update to github and inform everyone.
The ETA on exchange listing should be within 5 to 10 days after the ICO ends on Aug 11th. We decided at the last minute to make it a longer ICO so enough people have a chance to get understand the project and ask any questions.

I just noticed the dfscoin.slack is not open to the public yet, I will take care of that and inform everyone that its open in the next 24 hours. I've already linked our Trello account to slack so every one can follow the progress as bugs are reported and fixed and get updates on new features as they are added to the site.

Oh I realize that....I am very familiar with baseball and fantasy sports. My main issue was the Pitchers being shown as available. The same Pitchers were available for 3 straight days. That can't happen and must be some sort of an issue.

We will be Fixing this by adding an asterisk of some sort next to the starting Pitchers for that days game this feature is coming soon.....

I still haven't been able to participate in a contest. I guess the contests I have entered didn't have enough participants. I'm hoping more people get involved so that the contests will fill up.

A new little bug: I was on the page to create a lineup for a contest. After adding the pitchers I go away from my computer a while.
When I came back I continue my lineup but the filter became unavailable, the list of players was not loading, stays blank except for the pitchers.
So I cancel the lineup and found I was disconnected.
I guess my session expired. But in this case handling it on the lineup page with a message will be better ;-)

You really need to do something with the starting pitchers. Right now, with the current structure, it is very difficult to make sure we choose a pitcher that is designated to start for that particular contest.

Hi, yes we will be filtering to show starting Pitchers only soon, originally we listed all the possible pitchers and players would get an extra Fantasy Point for picking the correct starter, but the user feedback says that 1 extra point is not worth the confusion it causes for newer fantasy players so that will be changed within the next few weeks. Thanks and sorry for the delayed reply to your question. We decided to hold off on publishing the new ports for mining until after the ICO since we didnt want to give any impression that the insider team members might be mining and end up with more coins than we are disclosing, we will be staking and some solo mining just to allow for smooth transactions while other miners start up. Another concern is that since the mining will have a low difficulty just starting out it may have a negative impact on the ICO's success.

Someone else asked about mining also, so if its something the community really wants to see now we could publish the new mining ports and info.

Also don't forget to check out FanLucci.com also that platform and site was provided by our team mate Victor. Its being updated along with the Android and iOS apps but everyone can check out the site and its functions too. There are some additional game play options that are different from DraftDaily.com so some players may like one over the other or even both.
