Title: Coinbet24 suspicious scam
Post by: Goal458458 on July 14, 2017, 06:23:53 PM
Hello everyone.

Starting from my first day to use coinbet24, it gives me a good reputation on fast payout and withdrawal, compared with other bookies.
However, today disappoints me, especially the customer support.

I have bet on the Fiji cup match "Rewa vs Ba" on today (14/07/2017) morning, London Time (06:02 am) with 10 mbtc.
The final result for the match was 0-0. As I am betting on Ba side of the handicap, the bet won and need to have 13.9 mbtc payout.

But up to now, nearly 12 hours, there is no updates on that payout, even though I have bet other matches after this Fiji cup match, they are all got the payout. What happens to the system? I suspect if it is trying to evade the responsibility of giving the payout to customer. Though it is not a big sum, I have contacted the customer support for several times, and no reply up to this stage. What are their plan? They are now losing a loyal customer, and also their reputation.

You mentioned customer support. Have you contacted them? I found them to be quite helpful before with withdraw/grading delays. I would wait a little bit more time. I really doubt they'd try to scam by never grading something, as it would still appear as an active bet. It might be a problem with their data sources not providing the data for your type of bet.

I've had big bets with them before without any problems. (usually around 0.5BTC)

please try to think of it like the customer is always right... unless he is wrong ...  give them some time to fix it and dont jump the gun  simply because you have a issue and it is not fixed instantly as you want

Actually I have contacted the customer support for several times, but they still don't reply me. To my opinion, I think they should at least update me the status of what has happened, rather than revealing nothing and giving a bad impression to their customers.

If it is a technical issue, there are some bargaining point to discuss, but now I just know nothing and the funniest thing I witness is other bets that I have played in the site can still be processed.

This is the worst experience when there is week or none customer support from your most played sports website.
Regarding your bet result, if they are not willing to pay your winning amount, they should atleast refund your base bet as the result goes in 0-0

They should have replied to you by now. Along with being established, they are one of the active bookies in the forum as welll. If they aren't giving any attention to your ticket try posting in their official thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1397960.0

That will pressure them to take actions quickly.

I don't believe that even the worst sports betting website will try to scam people for 0.014 btc as that is approximately the payout amount you will receive. Now it is weekend and the customer support usually is very slow in weekends. I hope that you will get your payout soon. No sport betting in history so far has scammed for 0.014 btc so I am confident that your problem will be resolved.

That amount is bit small for their investment on their site and surely they would rip off their reputation for that certain amount so the thing you must do here is to contact them again since I think their support boards and emails has been flooded with certain inquiries and maybe your tickets has been buried by them. And if you are not satisfied for the result then you must try to reach up them via their furom account nor in their thread and paste all your evidence.

Based on my own experience, their supports are great and I have never got any issues with their services. Agree with BitcoinSupremo, I dont think Coinbet is willing to risk their repupation just for small amount of bet. My suggestion, give them more time and keep asking through support till you get an answer.

I don't use coinbet24, don't that have a support thread in this forum? If they do, maybe it could help trying to post on their thread or sending them a pm, explaining what is happening. Maybe it's just a technical issue, I don't know.

Dont rush up things man there are really some intances that this betting sites do have delays and as you speak you are just still waiting for almost 12 hours. Theres no need to murmur about shady behavior if they didnt process your payout immediately. Give them some time and they might really be experiencing problem for them not to process payouts. They will not ruin their site for just 12.9 mbtc payout.

I have to pay attention to such betting sites. Customer support is very important to me. I think you should leave that site.

I don't think the site would risk their reputation for just 12.9 mBTC, and since the site have managed to pay all the other bets OP made and only the match on Fiji cup match "Rewa vs Ba" payment was delayed, so I think it would be better to wait for a while more and wait for an answer from the site support. But I do agreed with the OP by not replying to customer support tickets is a bad indication from any businesses that they are simply not interested to provide good customer service to their customers and this would damage the site reputation in the long run.

After almost one day,  no any reply for this issue,  this case is really really interesting.  I can say nothing,  now the customer support is trying to demolish the reputation of the site. We will wait and see.

If they have really scammed you then you should re-route this thread to scam accusation section.

Moreover avoid playing to sites like: sportsbet.io , coinbet24 , Betopen as they sometimes go fishy.
