I'm trying to find support levels but I see nothing until about a $50B total market cap.  Also the altcoin marketcap looks just as bad... nothing but air until about $20-25B.. If I was a betting man I'd bet bitcoin is going to drop to a $25B market cap and the rest of the altcoin market will drop to a $25B market cap for a combined $50B over the next month or three.

The market depth on poloniex is looking better.. we'll see if that matters. It's not as lopsided as it was when we were around $100B market cap, that's for sure.   I doubt we'll ever see $600 bitcoin again... $900... questionable, but unlikely... $1200 is the likely floor....

No it is not going to get back lower than $2,000 today. The price is rallying at $2,000+ rate but it won't go down any longer.


Not that really, the price is getting ready and bitcoin is fueling for another start up of skyrocketing. Behold, you will see a very quick increase once segwit is done.

That's very stressing when someone predicts the current value of bitcoin. I hope that bitcoin do not fall to that much level. I know some of them think it as an opportunity to invest more into bitcoin and seek the future with big billions in return. But no I don't want that I'm just hoping bitcoin to rise from this point onwards and get us more value on whatever we are holding.

For today, maybe. But what about on August? In the middle of all the confusion when UASF starts and the possible split on the blockchain we might see the price below $2000. We also have not seen the last of the mempool flooder. When they were spamming the network they have created a lot of very tiny UTXOs. What would happen if they started moving them again? That would surely be strain in the network.

It might be a good sign because they tried to accumulate more bitcoin for 1 august,you can see it in every altcoin exchanger every altcoin goes down while bitcoin goes down too.doesnt that mean they're trying to accumulate more coin ?
And for support,i think it will be around 1,6k~1,7k bitcoin.based on our current market and volume,but everything is possible in cryptoworld.it's not impossible to see re-history 2014ish right now

I'm crossing now my fingers on will see that the price is still holding to $2,063. And hoping that it will have a come back.

I don't think we've reached the bottom yet, but USD 1800,- sounds about right. Should the 1800 be broken I guess the next strong support will be around USD 1300,- aka slightly above the 2013 ATH. I don't think we'll ever see USD 600 - 900,- again. If we do, that will mean that we're in a lot of trouble.


It could also mean that they are jumping the ship with BTC being the only way to get back into fiat.

Lols. That's really exciting to think bitcoin at that low. I don't think it will go to $600-$900 range of USD but yeah $1500 is really possible on the day of segwit2x or around it. Just imagine guys big bucks coming when the price falls. Big supporter gets more money and I think traditional bitcoin will be holding more chances of getting support than the classic one.

Haha, when the price of Bitcoin crash under $1000, the history of Bitcoin in 2013-2014 will repeet and not stop at $600, it can drop to $200 by panic seller lol ::).
If in that time have bad news about banned use Bitcoin and some country successfully creating coin for the world's can fixed all bugs of Bitcoin, the value of Bitcoin will go to zero

If it remain to be at $2,000 there's no need to for me to panic and I'm not forwarding to see the price of bitcoin at that range of $1,700 nor $1,800. I'm trying to be optimistic and this is going to start the price to get up some recovery. And we will see the price of bitcoin soon at $3,000. I don't want to assume for now, I just want to wait what will happen.

Everything can be happen,but as bitcoin believer i dont hope such a thing happen in the near future because bitcoin still not in the time what we called it 'euphoria' (of course in my point of view),we will there when everybody and many countries try to regulate it and accepting bitcoin as a payment.2020 might be the best time for bitcoin,when people reliaze using bitcoin is very easy and secureable other than bringin cash

I hope it won't settle at 2000$ because I see people are kept dumping hardly with the news of the split. But splitting Bitcoin is really very idea because the growth of the Bitcoin will stop at one point and even nations will start accepting it once it splits.

But for me I see no reason for price to crash @ below $1,000. First this FUD and panic are not 100% all bitcoin users will joined the hype. I believe a big percentage of them are positive that after this drama ends, we can eventually sees again another bitcoin price increase.

Im looking at the positive side, instead of taking this crash as thing to worried, it's a great opportunity to acquired again bitcoin at considered cheap price.

Well considering the price right now there are so many people that are selling out of fear, I myself are into the positive side of bitcoin that after this event bitcoin is going to be OK and even if the price would certainly drop it will eventually increase at a full speed up, let's just say that there is no one that could ever predict whether the next strong support would be but I really think it will not drop in the thousands place.

Let's not draw any conclusions as long as the $2000 mark remains holding its position.

It's funny that not long ago people were speculating about the price to break through the $3000 mark very easily, and now suddenly talk like ultra bears.

i think somewhere between $900 - $1,900. i am not good to find where is support price but i hope the price is not going down until less than $1,500 and only in around $1,500-$1,900. many traders is confusing to look the price now, they only can watch or if they can follow the price, they should be careful if they want to take profit.

I do not agree. Bitcoin prices are still in the range of 2000USD to 2100USD. There are still plenty of opportunities to make bitcoin prices rise again. Some exchanges have even re-entered the positive trend, we have to wait some time again. Maybe 1 week ahead is a crucial time in bitcoin price determination in the future.

Today the price of bitcoin is continuously decreasing.

Price when day started was 2279$. That's a -9.93% change in price.

Bitcoin has already fallen lower than 2000$! I lost 500$ just per one night! People are panic, but there are those who can save us by buying bitcoin for such extremely low prices (during the last few months). I don't even know what to think about the next minimal point!

The only positive is to think bitcoins are on sale and time to buy

We still have not reached August yet. I believe Jeff Garzik will not risk rushing his Segwit2x-BTC1 software update. He knows he will be the guy who could break Bitcoin if he does and this will again fork back to Core. We will be in a wild ride because UASF will be first out in the internet.

The price is good already and up. I guess we will not see bitcoin to split anymore. But we will not seeing the price of bitcoin to be back again at $1,800. I'm waiting for it to happen so that I can now buy.

The price is quite steady today at $2,260. I know what's possible to happen after some days. It's either the price is going to fall back to $1,800 or it will move a little bit and will cross $2,300.

For these few days, the prices is in its stable position.

Bitcoin decrease last few days ago $1800 and if you see the price as of now its good its already again 2300 dollars and I hope it will increase again. I dont want to see bitcoin price decrease lower than 2000 dollars and I hope the price of bitcoin in the months of august1 will be 3000 dollars because in the august theres no doubt about bitcoin if the price down or increase.  More bitcoin more profit to come.

Bitcoin has somewhat recovered, thanks to miners who said they are going to used the BIP91 software. The price hold at 2300$ currently. However, I believed that bitcoin may fall when we are a few day away from Aug 1. I'm thinking somewhere around $1500-$1900 will be the floor. But after the activation, I think we are going to see a good bitcoin price surge. Maybe in the vicinity of around $3000-$400. So better buy bitcoin and hodl.

i am glad to see the price is back in up to $2xxx but i think its just for temporary before we go down once again. but many people don't want to see the price is drop like yesterday, many of them wants the price is up more than $2,5xx. i only hope that after the price is down, it will go back and then increase more high. i am missed when the price reach $18xx-$19xx because i am too busy and this time when the price is down again, i don't want to missed again.

Bitcoin will still have a high value although later there will be a lot of clutter everywhere, bitcoin will not fall lower than 1000$ and I'm very confident about this.
