Title: mining "rig" help? usb pci 1x-16x resets pc.. Post by: fahq420 on July 15, 2017, 03:52:48 AM the rig runs fine with one card in the 16x slot. with the pci 1-16 in, the pc seems to reset every 20 seconds or so. I had it up a few times not resetting, but the card in the 16x riser portion was not recognized.
its a gigabyte h110 m series i believe (might not be m). 8 gm kingston hyper x ddr4 ram, 1 r9 390 (in the main 16x) rx 560 in the usb pci 1x-16x if i switch the cards, the 560 is seen, not the 390. im thinking something is wrong with the usb pci portion.. OR i have no clue about where to look in the bios. any help would be appreciated. (i do not care about opinion on cards to use to mine with, keep those to yourself. this is learning process!) |
