Anyone that sold high and buy more coins when it drops or anyone that buy when it dumps and sell when its price increased profit from a dump. Is that your question ?

There is big opportunity in shorting now.
You have to get a strong hand and heart.
Trading is high risk,
Sorting is higher.

they borrow ETH, sell it and buy it back later at cheaper price = profit. Thats how shorting works.
Its not possible with every coin on Polo, Bittrex..., but the other alts are affected by the major trading currencies, cuz of panic selling, so they fall aswell.

In Poloniex, you can borrow ETH and sell then buy them back.

if we are familiar with margin trading, i think we can make profit from this but for margin trading, we need big fund to start and its too risky for traders which don't know about trading or have less knowledge. i think its better to trading like usual and search good coins and do buy order than doing margin trading.

With shorts the risk is higher but the gains is higher but with longs the risk is minnor due to quickly flows at market.

You can borrow coins from the exchange and sell it. Then you buy it back at a lower price.

Whales. Whales do earn a lot of money from coin dummp because before that, they have collected a huge amount of coins and then, they are the ones who start dumping those coin for profit. MOreover, during the dump, they will collect many coins to start and new "Pump n Dump" round

if you can not hold any longer, then maybe short is your best option so you can buy in lower price but for me, i think its good to still holding coins while the price is down and maybe i will buy in lower price again. or if you are trading in poloniex, you can find there is a lending option to lend your coin if you want to make another coins because i think it might be work for you.

Actually this is a type of logical trading condition , Most of the times a particular coin get pumps but due to our non understanding and lack of experience we can't buy them before rise in the price , so we need to buy them during rise in the market , but when we bought at 100 satoshi and then if it get down to 80 satoshi then it is a chance to buy more again and if it again get dumped then again we should buy because in this condition we can make earnings ( if market of that coin get rise ).
But I think this is a risky trading or long time trading job in this condition during the down of the price and sudden buy .

Margin trading is very useful to make profit from a coin dump or in a general crash but it is always very risky , you can earn a lot but lose a lot of money in one night

Doing Short aka Sell and Long aka Buy in trading are really good to get profit,
but other than that also it's really bad if you get loses from it because with this you can get profit 2x from your total capital or 2x loses from yourr total capital.
everything have their advantages and disadvantages.
in normal way, nobody will earn anything while the price goes down,
but the whales get a lot of more supplies and will be the one who will get a lot of profit when the prices is up

It must be whales as always. They love to hold more coin as far as I can see. They keep dumping the price to create panic for people and buy more coins, making his/her wallets bigger.

Those canny enough to buy when the value of the coin is at its lowest. Taking a long term position is always the best, but when the price dips, it is important not to panic and study the situation with a clear head. Buying when it dips is always profitable, but that cannot be said for every coin. Some coins when dumped tanks, and its best to cut losses.

There are many people who can do that, any trader can make money from a dump coin. It is important, they have enough brains to decide when to buy and sell it. It is difficult to make the best profit when trading.

I think it is very difficult to determine the good timing. The coin price can be manipulated easily.

On poloniex you can make short with margin trading function and this way, you can make money from dumps and crashes. Not that hard, but complicated.

You can borrow coins from the exchange and sell it. Then you buy it back at a lower price.

Not for all coins. But during the dump, there is a way to earn for all coins. Sell high and buy low.
After selling
1-You can increase the total amount of coin which you sold if you believe that the price will recover.
2-You can buy the same amount of coins you sold. and you can buy another coin with the money rest.
3-You can buy a different coin which dumped harder with the expectation of relatively high recover potential.

Shorters, private investors who got tokens cheaper than usual price, developers (free tokens anyway), big whales etc. too many people earn from dumps.

Dump coins are what I always like to buy. Many traders take that oppotunity to accumulate more when it's red tide days. Just make sure that it's not dumped by traders because it is going to be delisted.

I think the coin buyers will be benefited, if the dump is on purpose. The buyers will get profited on the next dump. Obviously because the time they buy the coins, it is cheaper than the time of the next pump.
And also because of this, people might get attracted to this, patron increases, which a benefit of the coin's company.

It is possible but it will be with a loss all the time.  ;D That is not a move of someone who has the experience and knowledge in trading. People or traders that always let emotions play a role in what they do as well as those with weak hands will end up with losses. A coin dump is not something to which we react with panic, it is something that we consider a good time, to buy, an opportunity.

traders should monitor the chart for 24 hours to make a profit, because the actual fluctuations are still moving at a small rise rate and that's where the real profit is, unlike the shitcoin because its value will not disappear, the red color is the most appropriate Time to buy, don't get used to buying at the price correction as the market continues to move quickly.

Buy altcoin at a low price or when their prices are decreasing. very likely to give you a profit in the short term. you can try it now. many altcoin now have decreased in price. if you choose and buy the right altcoin you can make a profit within a few days even the next day (this includes sales in the short term) #imo

There are some traders buy coins months or 1-2 years ago say for example i bought doge last year at 10 sat so i will dump all even at 34 sat and for other who bought at 114 sat will be a total lost .

Why not? Margin trading is there on Poloniex which allows you to short over few selected coins and make money.
You can do leverage trading that allows you up to 2.5x leverage over your capital which is an advantage, though if market moves against you even those short sells could make you lose a big amount of your capital in a matter of minutes. When they short, they actually help the dump in a different way by putting their money on the sell side which increases the selling pressure over buyers.

Nope, you are wrong, no one can does that and the traders also do not need to check the price of crypto 24/24.
When you want to earn profit, that is the time you must to focus on chart price.
Then, take advantage all your experience and knowledge into trade, you will earn many profits

If trader has enough brain he can. You could find lots of examples for that. The most important thing is to sell or buy at best time, that's all.

Yes mostly traders earn even short term investment. Just buy low price and there are many altcoins worth to buy and wait it to grow. Invest on those worth altcoins and earn profit.

Agree. In the situation when we cant forecast anything - just expectations - we can work only with the short term. In this case, we can be closed even down with min loses.
