Well its looks like pretty scary news ... what are you guys thinking about it ?
Continuous fall of BTC price now since past day ..

Its unlikely that a block chain split will happen. Majority of the nodes are running Segwit.

Also expect BTC price to settle down to somewhere near 1800-2000 USD.
Its time to buy cheap coins.

There will be a large bull run after Aug 1st if everything goes according to plan

Looking at the fall in the price from 1.91 lacs in June and now it's 1.44 lacs, it's definitely scary. I fear we may reach below 1 lac soon at this rate after 1st August but hope the price then again reaches 2000+ USD.

I always consider the price fall to be a good buying opportunity.
Holding for the long run.

Agree I think it will be going down a little bit more and the after August 1st we will see a nice run.

It's very scary to now about how bitcoin price falls from 1,91,000 to 1,40,000 and it will become more down to 1 August.I expect rise after that and everything become normal after this.

Be aware of this situation guys, if you have Bitcoins on exchanges then don't forget to move them to a secure wallet for which you have back up. The price will get back after August first and that's why many buying now but don't keep them on exchanges on the time of segwit.

i will advise all of traders either they convert in into usdT(tether) or ethereum tokens because even if price goes down you can buy more amount of bitcoin then sell it at higher price after network stabilise.

Not at all scared of chain split coz I own my private keys. I wish I had more fiat to buy the Bitcoin on sale right now.
I see a bounce from 1840. A bit confused, why the drop stopped before 1Aug though.

Could just be whales manipulating the market.
I think it will go upto 2400 ish and then fall back and then go up after aug 1st.

as there was recent announcement that majority of miner are accepting segwit2x so there is less chance of splitting and bitcoin price dump was caused by whales and some bitcoin mining service.if you have private key then they is no worry whatever will happen the price will boom again.

Don't be panic i have done mistake of selling bitcoin in exchanges it doesn't needed for me i could have send it to wallet where i am holding private key . So move your bitcoin balance from local exchanges and trading exchanges to private key holding wallet like blockchain.info or electrum.

seems price gonna dip a lot after 1 aug , since it seems there would be a chain split and btc cash would come into existence . and i feeel this would mess up lot of things . btc should be btc only !
