Title: One of the bitcoins related sites trying to access my Moneybookers account Post by: AGD on May 11, 2013, 05:22:52 PM New to Bitcoin and just registered to different sites regarding Cryptocurrencies in the past few weeks (mtgox, btc-e, some pools, forums etc.). Today I recieved an email from moneybookers regarding a login attempt, which definitely wasn't me. I didn't register to a lot of sites lately, so it will be easy for me to find out which one of these sites is trying to access other peoples banking accounts.
Just a reminder: NEVER use the same password on different sites! Also there is a possibility that someone in your local network (if you are in one) just sniffed unencrypted info in your in/out traffic.
Try using this awesome extension: Https Enywhere for Chrome (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/https-everywhere/gcbommkclmclpchllfjekcdonpmejbdp) Title: Re: One of the bitcoins related sites trying to access my Moneybookers account Post by: tom_o on May 11, 2013, 06:25:21 PM Well, you better use SSL everywhere you can. Remember that admins for websites may well have access to plaintext versions o the passwords you give them. I just wonder if more people here have the same experience with one or more of the XXXcoin sites.
