Title: SAFEX 445.14%
Post by: thejaytiesto on July 15, 2017, 05:49:09 PM
Someone has pumped this bitch hard. Anyone knows what this is? Seems like another of these random coins that are flat for a while, and the least expected day it pumps massively. The 24 hour volume is $36,000 tho, so anyone that got rich from this is going to need more liquidity than that to dump.

I'm scratching my head on this one...nothing is in their forum or twitter about the rise. I'd also like to know since it's one of the only ones with big gains in the past few days.

Don't buy into coins like these that pump for no reason it will always end badly and you'll be left holding the bags if you buy near the top.

Looks like another random pump and dump. Fibrecoin was also pumped to insanity. I also remember Bitstar that pumped to %600 and it was pretty much a dead coin, and I was lucky enough to be holding some, so I was able to profit on that one. That is how you profit on these ones. You buy, ideally not buy but get it mining when no one miners or get it on some giveaway or some shit, then you just hold on these shitcoins for years and check your portfolio daily waiting for the pump.

This is why I use that cryptofolio.info site daily, got to keep track of all the bags you are holding to not miss the pump. Pumps always come, sooner or later, and you want to be aware of when that happens. I need to get my own excel spreadsheet for this tho, im tired of waiting for coins being added in the cryptofolio site. Blockfolio sucks because they spy on your portfolio. I dont know any other sites.

i do use blockfolio, but these pump go so quick that you need to have a crazy high sell order in place at all time.
so i payed a little learning money there :D

Talk about timing- By happenstance I was reading about this coin and saw an interview with Dabek. Not the most quant analysis but I thought it was interesting and found the approach somewhat innovative but again, I'm not a tech guy and new to crypto. I decided to buy some, went in and saw it was 240 or thereabouts and scratched my head thinking I had read that it was 160 or thereabouts. Bought a little and it kept spiking on high volume so I didn't suspect anything. Thought maybe some real news broke and took more of a position with an average cost at about 350. Even after the fact, it still didn't trade like a true dump to me. It seemed to keep finding support but maybe that's an aftershock effect. Chalk it up to learning but for whatever reason, I'm glad to hold it. Sure, I'd like to have bought a day before or say tomorrow but I'll be able to live with this. Wish I knew how to track this stuff as well.
