You will need to obtain a bitcoin wallet. You have two options. You can download the bitcoin wallet to your local computer or you can set one up online that is store on someone's server. there are benefits and risks associated with both kinds.

my I Phone was hacked and 179 Bit coins were stolen yesterday.  I was using block chain.  Is there any recourse or could it have been an inside job.  at the same exact moment I was hacked my friend was also hacked and lost all of his bit coins.  He has an I phone as well.

With bitcoin, once the coins are gone, they are gone for good.  It's meant to be like cash for a reason, and you should protect it like cash.

I'm doing some research on BitCoin and could use help with a few questions if you have the time: How quickly is mining bitcoins at home becoming inaccessible to the average person, if it has not already?
Also,
Between CPU, GPU, FPGA, and ASIC, which technology do you believe to be the best long-term investment option, taking into account salvage value in the event of unfavorable bitcoin price fluctuations?
