I have tasted today for the first time civet coffee. Awesome  8) and absolute worth to try if you love to drink coffee.
It has a special flavor and if use sugar and cream it is a bit of  mix of coffee/chocolate. Great.

I am a fan of coffee in general and looking for good or special blends/tastes. I have the fortune to taste civet and becuase of that i know exactly what you mean.
Still though the big problem is to get an original Kopi Luwak from wild civets and not fakes that are on the market with a label with the name "Luwak" and cost 4$.
It's clear written at "Authenticity and fraud" on the link that you provide...

So can you please tell us how you (and we ofc...), will know for a fact that this will be an genuine Kopi Luwak?

Not sure if coffee is that good. Actually i think that coffee gives to our blood density in much more quantity than our blood needs it.
So much greater mind like Tesla didn't drink coffee but tea. Also later scientists proved that too much tea is unhealthy for heart and causes arrythmia.

there are so many things we dont know where its made from and eating or drinking it. as long it taste good why not

I'm not so sure about coffee. Because too often drinking coffee negative impact can be heart disease, high blood pressure and cholesterol
So do not drink too much coffee

Im spoiled with wild civet coffee here, where i reside now.. nothing really special, i would say its definitely an acquired taste.
I still miss americano brewed coffee once in awhile.. or watered down Tim Hortons.. lol

Some companies have simulated civet coffee also. Give it a try.
Ive visited a few "harvested" civet coffee locations.. they are not caged nor are they suffering. I cant speak for other countries or farms though.

Same here but i've heard it in a news few weeks ago. I find it really strange, i love coffee. Soon i will need to taste it. Happy to hear it is available here in my country.
